Thanks Lamewolf and Gratefulforhelp, have just had a text from lil sis who said mum is fine just waiting to see the dr (they have transferred her as it's only a cottage hospital where she lives) but she seems ok, it seems she was startled by a dog she didn't see and then tripped over a manhole cover and knocked herself out....dad was with her luckily and called an ambulance, I wish I was a bit closed (100 miles away) lucky lil sis is on hand although she does panic!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0

Whoops! Thanks Valli! I forgot to rearrange my dental appt - must make a note of this and remember to do it
Also naughtily bought myself a deal of the week for my birthday in Oct (new watch). Wanted one for a while to replace the one my exOH bought me which I currently wear and wanted one with a leather strap for a change and lo and behold they had one on offer that fitted the bill nicely.
Used the accident money and thought 'what the heck, why not - its a good price, I will wear it everyday, its in my favourite colour, its on offer, for once I have the money to pay for it and I will buy it as a birthday present for me and I'll put in away in a drawer until the day arrives'
