All kiddies bathed and in bed, Rhys has decided tonight to be grumpy so i think it will be a long night. :(

Right bath and bed for me, i'm knackered.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • HUGE ((((hugs)))) to all those going back to school this week (as staff not pupils). I'm back tomorrow with an INSET day. Spent today shopping for last few items for DS2 and DD. Both sixth formers now so 'uniform' not as easy as pop to ASDA. Still not found a bag that DS2 likes (I'm not counting the one at £45 from White Stuff).

Just like to take this moment to thank everyone on the flylady fred. I joined at start of hols and 5 weeks later am still sticking to FCC lists and enjoying a much cleaner and tidier home. Need a plan to ensure the tasks continue to be achieved now back at work ... may need to delegate and bring DH and Dc on board, they live here as well.

Good news for DD + DS2. MIL told us yesterday that her gardener has had to give up doing her garden as he now has fulltime employment ...she was most put-out:eek:. Anyway, my 2 have been talking about getting a job so I suggested they negotiated with their grandmother and took on the garden tasks as their job. They've just returned having negotiated £10/hour 2-3 hours a week. MIL has to write jobs to be done in a book so they can manage their time rather than her manage their time (which she soooo likes to do). She did try giving them jobs in the house as well but they stood their ground and said it was gardening they would be doing. Strange DH and i were there yesterday getting all her jobs done and in 24 hours she has found some more!

    as for this weeks flying

well off to bed now as rather cheesed off with DH. yesterday was his last day off so claimed he should not be sorting out last nights dinner, no probs until this evening when he gets home and expects me to have his dinner done ....but by his theory it is my last day of freedom so ....

Wouldn't mind so much but when he takes holiday it is definitely not spent sorting house, paperwork, laundry, food shopping, bank, you name it. He does generously sort the cars out but it always requires the purchase of a new toy from Halfords.

Well that's me with moan out in the open .....just disgruntled probably because I'm back at work tomorrow:eek::eek:

    good night, nos da

Lamewolf - Ted is lovely. I could drown in his eyes.

Very stressful day with minimal flying done. I had to sort out DS1's disappointing GCSE results. He's not able to take the course he wanted to at his sixth form so I've enrolled him in the college. He's delighted as the course tutor is one of those adults who is tuned into adolescent beanpoles. The only sting in the tale is the cost of the minibus to get him there £975:eek::eek:. This has to be paid in a lump sum now so if you hear of any bank robbing in the Essex area it's me!

Please give me chance to get to the bank in the morning first,Although if there's no que then I know you got there before me:rotfl::rotfl:

Didn't really get as much done as i wanted/needed to today.
Took nieces out with me to the bank to open new account (have to go back thursday :( ) and then to kidspace (an indoor play area) where I then proceded to have some sorta meltdown an hour n half later and just stood there in floods of tears cos I felt sick, tired, absolute crap and wanted to go home but the kids were being evil and refusing to leave .... felt like a right moron after that but so glad i can blame my hormones right now!

came home and did some sorting of paperwork, then went to mothercare to get a new moses basket as i managed to break the other one :o and although i had huge plans for the evening Ive just ended up sprawled across the sofa as moving is making bump hurt like mad and still feel like crying my eyes out ...will have to see how tomorrow goes.

    Hope everyones ok, xx
Mummy to a very gorgeous little boy and baby girl :D
