Alton Towers was great but tiring. At least got some use out of the merlin passes.

Anyways came back and pretty much went to bed.

Got up, hubby back now so I'm a happy bunny, washing from him to do though so that'll be a busy washing machine.

    Also done

    dw x 1

soaked all big trays, pans etc

made a chilli which appears to be becoming the signature dish to munch on, very cheap to make and loads to go round for bowls of chilli with tortilla hips or messy nachos...yum

Also have a gammon which slowcooked all day plus the split peas to make a ham and peaish soup.

Rang guy to check gutters, he's coming friday morning.

Need to pack up my ebay stuff, looking good on some of the sales.

worksurfaces cleared and wiped in kitchen.

Need to get the chickens some more straw and clean them out.

Also I would like to start getting the bedroom sorted for DD2, needs decorating and rearranging.

Boddy, so sorry about your friend's husband.

Hello :) kids deposited at 10.45am so done 2 washer loads now both on line, folded 2 loads which were dry, cleaned up dog muck, dishwasher filled & on, fed animals, flinged a bin bag of rubbish from kitchen - eek!

I'm going to continue clearing the kitchen while sorting some lunch then we need to go uniform shopping this afternoon :( booo hissss boooo I hate shopping. DS2 also needs new glasses so will have to take prescription and see what I can get without travelling to Ayr before the holidays are over.

We're managing to get free tickets for Lego Land through Merlin's Magic Wand so I've been looking for cheap hotels for October half term, looks like it'll be a travel lodge. Need to find one with parking. http://www.merlinsmagicwand.org/ for anyone who has children with special needs/disabilities/long term illness. They are giving us £120 towards travel too which is a huge help.

Hope you all have a nice day, weather is lovely here but I'll be stuck in metro centre hell all afternoon well after collecting boys at 2pm. Bacon and egg sandwich first I think :D
One day I might be more organised...........

Kitchen cleaned, mopped and everything. Looks spiffing! Mopping supervised by small black kitten *roll eyes* at VERY close quarters:rotfl: Cue much backward kitty-hopping. Am going to use mop water to swish bathroom floor too, as I have a litter tray in there but DD has got into the bath. Mind you I haven't made my bed yet - was airing;)
2 loads on line - IF the weather keeps up like this I might get round to washing the contents of the glove, hat and scarf drawer!

    Afternoon all

I've done the kitchen/diner today, also cleaned the living room and computer desk, vacuumed up the stairs and right through downstairs. Washing on the line, one load of clothes and one of cats' blankets. I've cut the front grass, I'll try to do the back later when the washing's off the line. Also put away the Asda shopping that was delivered (including a few bits of Christmas shopping while there are some special offers on).

Hope everyone's OK, going to catch up before I have to start cooking dinner.

    :D

We went earlier in the holiday as we got tickets from merlins magic, if you take a letter proving childs disabilities (letter from his/her paeditrican) they will give the child a red stamp and everyone else a black stamp this means you go to the Exit of a ride and get on next so you dont have to que. we got on all the rides because we had the stamp and over heard one couple saying they had been on 2 rides all day as the ques were long.

Need to get some flying done have done nothing so far today
Mums partner goes into hospital today well he is already there and has his glansectomy tomorrow so just hoping all goes well for him.

Hullo, I'm a little late today :o but I have been doing things, I promise!

Went to playgroup this morning only to find it closed, so invited Ollie's little friend and his baby brother (and Mum lol) back for a bit instead. First time I've been able to do that - house was messy but bearable. She went to Mr T for biccies while I made sure there was no underwear lurking etc. Boys were fairly well behaved, Ollie's friend is a bit of a terror and his Mum is one of those who says his behaviour is "character" rather than naughty, but they were ok. I have a MASSIVE bone to pick with OH when he gets in though, as he bought a new hack saw yesterday and left it out, and Ollie has cut his chin on it  It's not a bad cut, but I am going to milk it for all it's worth when OH gets home as it might start making him tidy up. I'm getting fed up of picking up after him. Have phoned the gas board and made them change the DD as we were being charged too much. I have also had the washing machine on twice and got one load on the line. Second load will be going on the line once there's room and a third load going in - I decluttered my 2 laundry baskets of all the gibble and clothes we don't wear anymore but got a load of darks and half a load of whiles to do - then my laundry baskets will be empty for the first time EVER :T I S&S'd the LR last night, but will need doing again as Ollie is having a picnic on the rug and watching Shrek, so crumbs ahoy. This afternoon I will be doing some batch cooking (roasted pepper and tomato soup and rataouille in the SC) and getting some of the list done I hope.

    Here we go...

    Tuesday~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Wipe fronts of appliances and units.. kickboards too![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
Wipe small appliances and replace.. clean 1 to perfection..
[STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]
    Clean the tiles and [STRIKE]sink[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Sort out the fridge... what needs working into your meal plan before it tries running away?[/STRIKE] Done Sunday after shopping
Tidy the cupboard full of all those things you never use.. and get rid of the ones you really don't need
Wipe over oven and hob and fridge.
    Extras
    [STRIKE]Arrange services on fires/boilers etc[/STRIKE] NA
Scrub and demould doorseals! Don't forget the ones in the WM
Tidy the top of the fridge/freezer
[STRIKE]Empty and wash out bins![/STRIKE] Done yesterday as bin day today

    My list for the week:

    Tidy tupperware cupboard
    Tidy pots and pans cupboard
    Sort kitchen drawers
    [STRIKE]Book postnatal check[/STRIKE]
    Sort odd socks
    Fix drawer bottoms

I'm sure this list will grow...

Not too bad. Will do Level One once the batch cooking's done and see what else I can fit in.

Enjoy your day everyone, will catch up with thread later x
