    Evening everyone

Not done much here apart from shopping at Mr M's and fuelled up saving 5p/l ;) We have been clearing the HD on the TV of old heartbeats. One we watched resulted in 2 children crying for Daddy. They are ok now, getting ready for bed and playing a pc game.

Boddy sorry to hear your friend's news I hope the situation clarifies itself quickly so that she can start to move forward. With family and good friends round her she will get through.

    :hello:Hi ladies!!

Quite nice here today - I did the kitchen :D:D this morning, as I didn't check on here first! Then off to buy the barbecue stuff for DD who was entertaining this evening. This afternoon I did some gardening, and helped DD make millefeuilles, which is her boyfriend's favourite - they are celebrating their two years tomorrow.

msgnomey - I hope you enjoyed your last day's holiday today. Mine tomorrow.:( We have three inset days, then only Year 7 in on Monday, so really I have another week before I have to teach anything. Best wishes for a calm start to your new year.

boddy - hugs, I am so sorry to hear your news.

Can I send some of mudbath's 'money comes easily to flyladies' vibes for soappie.

Love and hugs, especially for lady-liberty, toots and diva.

Oh dear, I was beginning to think things were going too well for us, as everyone else I know is having some sort of stressful thing going on - the mortgage problems we had last year have reared their ugly head again. We went round to visit old neighbour, and there was a letter at the flat (we rent it out) saying the extension we gained last year was up! Moon is in a terrible state, and I'm worried as we may have to move back into the flat again, and give up our lovely home to rent out. We've got a new tenant who is meant to be moving into the flat at the end of September too. Moon is going to ring the mortgage company tomorrow but it's all very stressful and complicated! The timing couldn't be worse with the wedding to save for too. Plus we got news yesterday that one of our neighbours who lived above us has just lost another of her cats to the road, so I'm very worried about Ebony moving back there.86439928.2oiK5MMs.crying.gif

Hugs to boddy and rach, continued thoughts for LadyL, and hugs for anyone else going through it at the moment.

I have done all my ironing and I am sort of pondering whether (and how) to act on Greenbee's suggestion of poems to sell on a website...

Rach re: the old thread - now I know where you used to live! The Q Road thing is so sad I'm wanting to say something about "care in the community" but that's probably not the right thing to say at this time. But hey! 3.5 days to go - woo hoo! :D What length of maternity leave will you have?
lol I thought you already knew! I had a great time living there, my own little flat! Very sad though what has happened, there are some lovely people on the road too though the houses are going one by one to developers

Plan is 9 months of mat leave, plus I have 2 weeks annual leave first and will have 11 days statutory & bank hols when I come back, so due back beg July which is exactly when my contract ends, so hopefully will be renewed or they'll look to redeploy me but with public sector cuts who knows!? Although I'd happily lose the commute I will need to go back to work in some form or other.

Have overdone it today, in agony now. Have been told off on the preg thread (rightly i guess) for overdoing it (i.e walking for 5 mins!), didn't realise how little I should actually be doing. I think I should probably have gone off sick before now but it's too late now and I will manage this week I'm sure.
