Boddy (((HUGS))) for you and your friend. What an awful, awful thing to happen.:(

Monday ~ HAVE THE DAY OFF AND DO SOMETHING FUN WITH YOUR LOVED ONES!!!

It is bank holiday (though not in Scotland I believe?) Just make sure your dailies are done and maybe a couple of jobs you keep putting off!
Well, I've got ahead with a couple of monthly tasks that I normally do on the 1st of the month; Mr LW is looking at trashy websites (no, not *THOSE* sort of websites:eek::eek::eek:), and Terrier Ted is curled up on the sofa.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

School bags now out on the line. Evil lego all lifted in boys room as well as all shoes gathered up and put in the bottom of the wardrobe. :D

I really must get some shelves for the bedrooms, might have a nosey at argos. Need a new fire guard as well. The list goes on .....:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Afternoon all

I've done a roast dinner today as DH and DD2 are back from holiday. All done and cleared away. Two loads of washing, including DH's holiday washing, done, dried and folded up. I can't put it away yet because DD2 is having a nap in my bedroom!

Otherwise, just general pottering about, tidying, washing up etc.

OH's present sorted. Unfortunately the dry cleaner's was closed (WHY??? It's always open on Sundays) so I couldn't pick up the cleaning which was another thing on my list.

Better get the present wrapped, then get the rest of my list done so I have a chance to sort out supper and make myself look presentable before OH gets back... after all, I don't want him to know (yet) what I'm like when he's not around ;)

    Hi all

boddy - hugs to you and your friend, how awful

Not the best morning here in RachLand, I managed to break the shower (which was already on its way out), still turns but has obviously broken away from the mechanism so just spins round and round so no water comes out :( DH livid despite him breaking it a bit a few weeks ago. Will probably be at least a week til landlord sorts it. DH then aggressively dysoned the flat as he was so mad (but at least it got done), didn't want to take the 3 carriers of stuff to the charity bin (just wanted to bin them), so I ended up carrying them on my own, thankfully it is just across the road. Then we've been out with his family, but I had to walk too much and hurt my pelvis getting into his parents car so spent the whole time on the edge of, or in, tears.

Anyway, we're home now, back to his parents for dinner later (saves us cooking!)

and the good news is I only have 3.5 days to work!! :D

First load of dry clothes in. :j Another load out.
Hubby's clothes sorted out and anything holey is now gone. :rotfl:

I managed to spill a glass of water on our bed so it has been stripped. Best remake it soon or i'll be to tired tonight. Must go and find more clothes in the car.

Arrived back home last night and then we've been to Eccleshall market this morning. Feeling pretty shattered so I don't think much will be getting done today
