    Have hit a problem though...

went in to instore and spotted this wool called great big softy it knits to standard chunky and mohair, I would like to knit a shawl/shrug/large scarf out of it for a present but can't find a pattern I would like it to have a lacy effect can anyone help point me in the right direction for a pattern?

esmer - love the boxes...............must have a look at your blog for tutorial on those.

The other bits you wanted to know about -I'll have a look on the ''craft tutorials'' thread (if I can find it.......lol) to see if they're on there.

Not done much today except wrap up grandchildrens bracelets for their 18th at Christmas, and do birthday card for Grandson.........now need to do Grandaughters.
Back ached this morning more than usual so I;ve been taking it easy.
    Least the snows going..........:)

Edit - just had look at craft tutorials thread (bumped it up)-theres a tutorial for kitchen organiser..........can't see one for coaster calendars -maybe its on ''flying pig'' thread ?
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
