Wow, can I just say you are all extremely talented ladies!
I have discovered this thread wayyy too late to do much for this Christmas but I have bookmarked the thread and have been writing furiously in my notebook all evening and I will definitely be doing lots of homemade presents next yr.
I picked up some bits of fabric in my local charity shop today- some clothes and a blanket and am going to attempt to make some bunting for my friend's dd's and I will make her some truffles.
Money and time restricts me from doing much more before the big day of 2011 but I will be following your shining examples into 2011.
Thank you for being so inspiring2011- new year, new start.

I'm pretty much the same, katiesmum. Until my working week is shorter than 40 hours etc etc I can't do as much as I would like but I'm sure I'm going to be better organised now!0

Have just put this on another thread but will put it here too incase it's of any use to anyone.
Loving all your creations, they are fabulous :j:j
Don't know if this would be of any use to anyone but for jars of sweets/jams that are small rather than the little jars are from Ikea £1.99 for 4, what about
these little jars -
Jam Jars Round 7oz - Box of 36,
with either red or pale blue spotty lids
£ 15.95 per pack of 36
http://www.jamjarshop.com/shop/product.asp?catid=43&pid=196
and a 10% promotional code that will apply to all orders placed before the end of January 2011 :j:j

I'm not working at the moment (hence money restrictons) but never seem to have any time for anything! Having said that, I've managed to read half of this thread, clean the house, make cookies with ds and go for a job interview today so I don't think I've done too bad!
I'm gonna go to town tomorrow and get a pair of socks to make a sock monkey with- dunno who it'll be for, I'll just make it up as I go along hehe.
What do people use to stuff them? Do you buy proper stuffing?
Oh I wish I'd found this thread earlier, I could have made some lovely gifts2011- new year, new start.

I have just made some stuffed felt hearts and keyrings. I bought a new cushion pad from the charity shop for £1 to use as stuffing and I haven't even made a dent in it yet! Will last me ages. A lot more MSE than buying proper stuffing. HTH0
