  • i've carried on with the gingerbread men thing
i seem to have fallen in love with them
but as i made this years tags sooooooooo early last year, they werent GB themed:(

i was going to have small wooden ones, so people could use them afterwards on the tree, but, it means i cant put on it who they are from, you wouldnt want that on the back hanging on a tree, so my trial is a GB man, looking like he is leaning on his elbows on a wall

    its ok, but needs work

today again you have spurned me into action

and i have completed 6 of my baskets

its just a case of going along my production line, picking the contents, cellophaning the baskets, and making them look pretty
hopefully i shall get them all done tomorrow

made a tea for one "hamper for a little old lady
i dont think she would appreciate my cake soaps etc somehow

its so exciting seeing everyone makes, lots of piccies posted now its getting closer to Santa time!

the tea tray? erm, well, let me think about it
    and i made 2,
i got the m&s hamper on the offer of the day, and split the contents
but you could add anything from anywhere really
i also got the whittards things on a glitch from the grabbit
(the other hamper is a herbal tea one, and i got bath tea bags & eye teabags as well)
the wee jams i was lazy this year and bought, didnt have a good enough crop this year to make my own:( but they were 4 for £1 from morrisons
trays were nice ones and only £1.71 (odd price i know!) thanks to my mum shopping in TJ Hughes, not a shop i go into
and the tea for one pots were 2 for £10

i would say all in they cost about £17 to make each
but you really could do it a whole lot cheaper

this is the herbal tea one
