My month ends on 17th and so far grocery budget is in the 'not bad but could do better' range. I've spent about £185 but this includes some great savings on bread mix etc from Dan Ap.Fd. Unfortunately the rest of the credit card this month is  as have bought new freezer (the old one was over 40yrs old so don't feel extravagant) and my kitchen scales also packed up and have been replaced.
Next month's delivery from Mr.T has come in at £73.78. This includes detergents etc as well as food. Am hoping that I will only have to buy fresh fruit and veg and milk next month. Fingers crossed for next month and a credit card bill under £150.
Using Romeska for cooking and not putting oven on so hoping for smaller electricity bills. Making own bread, this is a great saving and so much nicer. Eating a lot of 'Chinese' style meals as they make a little meat go a long way.
Started a 'drinks' survey on Valued Opinions; pays £30 at the end. I did one earlier on in the year; a bit tedious but only takes a couple on minutes every day. Money will be useful after Christmas.
Hippechiq - so pleased you are feeling a bit happier. You know we are all sending you LOTS of HUGS and good wishes.0 -

feeling a little disheartened-im up to 177/220 and still have to add this weeks shop when it arrives(it can vary from the price you paid online-usually over!) my month ends on the 30th too
ive done a meal plan for this week put still have to get a few bits from te$co-baby milk and cat food as its cheaper. i only shopped at $ain$burys because i had free delivery-shopping came in at under 40 so would of had to pay 6quid delivery! i probably would of come in slightly under budget if we didnt have 2 students staying this week-they got sprung on us so maybe i should adjust my GS accordingly...?? that'll make me feel better!!

Am quite chuffed that I still have £100 left - not sure how, mind! Especially as I reduced by budget by £100 this month to take account of something that didn't happen. Woo hoo! Mind you, knowing me, there's still plenty of opportunity for me to still go over!!
Have done some stocking up, too (eg Mr T's big bags of pasta x 4)
