Afternoon everyone
will need to pop down to Asda at some point today to get cat food and cat litter. Other than that I think I will be alright for this week living out of the freezer.
I got some farm foods vouchers in the post this week so may well go down there to get stuff should I need anything, which I'm hoping I wont!
Going to have HM pizza tonight using some stuff in the fridge. Perhaps onion pepper sweetcorn and some panchetta......
Good luck for this month everyone!Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790 -

Howdy y'all
I'm way behind on reading the posts but stayed true to form and overspent last month. Still need to do a final tally, but this month will be £300
I'm off to Mr T in a little while to use the vouchers from last weeks paper so I'll post total later.
Thanks to all for keeping us going - you know who you are
Good luck everyone :A:xmastree:Merry Christmas0 -
Hello,
This is my first grocery challenge month so can you put me down for £430. Our month runs from the 1st. We have been monitoring our spending for the last two months but I want to try and get our groceries in particular down as I think it's probably high for 2 adults and a toddler. I'm hoping that having to write it down in public will help me see ways of reducing it further. Looking forward to hearing how you're all doing.0 -
Hi All!
After coming in over budget last month I would like to increase my budget to £150 please.
It might sound strange increasing it by nearly double, but this month I am going to include EVERYTHING except bills, travel and rent (ie food, toiletries, household products and last but not least....alcohol and entertainment!).
I've not quite done a budget of how much money I spend on entertainment/alcohol, but I'm ashamed to say that it probably is more than food! I really need to crack down on this over the next few months since I'm determined to FINALLY pay off my credit card debt which has been like a lead ball around my neck for the past few years!
Good luck everyone! I'll start recording my spends from the 1st September onwards which is my pay day.Grocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300

Am aiming for a September spend on food, toiletries and household goods of £50 or less.0 -
Hi everyone -
After failing my first GC, Im going to try again! Im having my wisdom teeth out on the 13th, so Im seeing lots of soups and soft things this month! Unfortunately we also have OH's family in town for part of it and his brother and and GF will be staying with us, so more expense there.
Anyway - please put me down for £200, of which I've already spent £60Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Hi all
Its about time we got our food spending under control. I haven't counted receipts but would estimate we spend about £360 (and thats only for the 2 of us). I'll start gently and try for £300. Fingers crossed!0
