Does anyone have a link to a good speadsheet to record everything or what do you use? thank you
I have a spreadsheet I use to record absolutely everything - from Direct Debits, to window cleaner, right down to groceries at an item level - including the full price of things I buy in clearance so I can monitor my savings from buying that way (it functions just as well without utilising this option).

I'm sure people can point you in the direction of some on the 'net (pretty certain I've seen links before), but if you'd like a look at mine - with no obligation to use it - just drop me a PM with an email address and I'll send it on to you. I just need to know if you're using Excel (which version) or Open Office so that I can send you the right version :)

I've had my first spends of the month. £12.76 spent at MrT and another £5.09 at Bo*ts. Not doing very well with meal planning, as keep lacking inspiration of what to eat :(

Morning all. Yay shiny new thread :j thank you Pink and all who look after it. :D

My freezer is full again thanks to my cooking efforts yesterday with my sweet potato and mushroom curry ! I also added to the mix babycorn, spinach, roasted tomatoes and peppers. I managed to get 10 portions ! so this will see me for quite a few work lunches - :D

I haven't planned my menu yet but I plan to do this before the new month starts. everything is well stocked so I am hoping to have a relatively good start to the month :j:j:j I must ensure that I keep my receipts this month and log the spends as soon as they are made. I think I will use a notebook for this and then update spreadsheet when I get home. Have a good day all :D

Hope everyone is well and having a lovely weekend!
I really must stop going missing :o-please someone track me down and Yell at me if I don't appear every couple of days or so;)

Our month started on the 25th -and no spends so far -but no doubt that will change in the next few days :p... Im still doing good ole SW -and weighed in today -another 2.5lb gone :D-taking me to 4st8lb gone in 19 weeks :j..but still *mumble mumble* left to shift :rotfl:I joined the gym on camp last week - for the 1st time in my life I go to a gym .... in the MSE spirit -ITS FREE :T-so i figured I may as well bite the bullet and use their facilities for free ;)...

Back to grocery things (sorry to have gone off on a tangent :o) -and our freezers are still ram packed ...have got my hands on some great bargains...
    • tesco finest dry cure bacon -whoopsed to 53c
    • tesco finest breaded ham -whoopsed to 53c
    • packs of 4 HUGE free range chicken breasts (900g per pack) whoopsed from €9 to €3 -so I wedged 4 packs of those in the freezer:p
Im doing Red/Original days so it reall helps when I can get such bargain...makes it slightly less painful to the pocket :T
Right thats enough blah blah blah from me -off to finish my meal plan for this week,,,
Have a lovely day everyone...and if I go missing -don't forget to shout at me :p
