Please can you put me down for £60.00 for September? Putting it up a bit as have gone over this month (more than my signature says but haven't added it up - probably by about £15.00 but then I have stocked up on certain things which could have waited)

Lovely shiny new thread! Thanks Pink :A

Hello to all our newbies :hello:

I really am going to have to sit down and sort out my receipts; I'm pretty confident that I'm somewhere near my annual target though.

    Good luck everyone! peace-1.gif
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

Can you squeeze one more into the challenge ? :D

Relative newbie here (but not to the boards, long story :o).

I'd like to try for 350 this month as a starting point (me, DH and 4 children).

Previous shopping bills have been approx 400-450 per month so gently does it at first :o.

Although payday is on the 25th of each month for us, I think I would still like to do it from the 1st to last day of each month, just so that I don't confuse myself !

Looking forward to joining you all

  • Hi all

I would love to join. Have been hawking for a while now and enough is enough. Embarrassed to say I just worked out I spent £440 in supermarkets last month and there's only me, hubby and 2 children . Have terrible shopping habits and think only a bit of shaming will convert me. Our income has gone down by a third but my shopping hasn't. Have got most other expenditure under control, but struggle with this (clearly!!).

Please can you put me down for £350 Still silly money I know but need to give it my best shot.

Now all I need to do is work out how to do a signature - can you tell I am a newbie?!

    Thanks
:wall:Trying to get a grip

    Woohoo! September thread already :D:j

Could i try for £200 food and £60 pets again please this month MrsM :D

I`ve worked out my dates and lost them, i like posting them on my first post so that if i get confuzzled then i can look back to see what i`d planned :D I have bits of paper all over the place, when i find it i`ll post them.

This month will include our holiday as we`re away for a week. I`ve decided to include it as we will be taking some of our food and only eating out for a couple of meals, i`ve a holiday budget to take care of that but the supermarkets will be more expensive in the south west than up here so i`m hoping to still be able to come in under budget*crosses fingers*

Thanks to Rosieben, MrsM for all the hard work and time given to help this thread and to Pink for starting us all off on another fresh monthly challenge.

    Good luck everyone :j
