It looks like we will be coming under budget so i have decided to spend most of the remainder this week to stock the freezer back up and hopefully i can reduce the budget a bit from next month.Grocery challenge Jan 270.27/200:eek:

Morning everyone - slightly more over budget now as I had to buy Milk and some more Fruit, OH and kids have it in their Lunchboxes and they eat it at night too so we do go through it, especially Bananas but thankfully they are only 67p a KG at the moment. Also bought some cheese that was on special in Sa!nsbury's, 2 x 400g packs for £4.
Dinner tonight will be HM Tuna pasta bake as we have loads of tuna in cupboard, bought it last month when it was on special in L!dl and forgot it was in there - will make sure we have this again in next months meal plan too. Got everything I need in to make this so should be a NSD day today. Having Fish and chips tomorrow night, already got fish in and will get potatoes from the Allotment so another NSD planned for tomorrow. Saturday we are having HM Courgette bake - batch cooked last month and in the Freezer so yet another NSD and then Sunday is Roast Pork - joint already in the Freezer but I will need to buy some Veg and then my new Budget for GC starts on Monday so fingers crossed I won't go over by too much more.:o"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

Morning folks, groceries purchased this week is another £6.88 for milk, cheese and bread, along with £2 on bread rolls, so in all I have gone over, but not to the extent I would have not being in this challenge. Next month will be a 5 Friday month so will have to sort out the budget for that.Every days a School day!0

Trying to plan how to spend my remaining £14 for this weeks shop and determined not to go over, but how to do??
Can extend it to £16 as I have a voucher for £2 off a £20 spend at Mr T and mum and dad said they'll put some of their shopping in my trolley to bring up the amount so I don't have to spend much in there myself. (Perks of taking them shopping). And mum is going to share the 2 for £6 Nescafe offer so I can have coffee next week.
Does anyone know if there are any offers still going for the 50p 2ltr 1% milk? Managed to get some at Mr M last week.
Thinking now would be a good time to feed from the freezer, although I can see the bottom of it already.
Must go get some pointers from Weezl's thread. I WILL make it this month!AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Fridge is looking a bit empty. I have got one week's shopping money left but October will be a five week month so will have to plan more carefully. All three children have birthdays end of this month/beginning of next too. Co-op keep giving me vouchers for £8 off an £80 shop but I have not used one of them yet as do not spend that much at one go and they are also very time limited so can't eg do a bigger fortnightly shop - even if I had a big enough freezer, which I don't. Hate that I'm wasting eight free pounds though!Jan 2011 GC £300/£150.79 (2 adults, 2 teens, working dog, includes food/cleaning/toiletries)0
