I know I do not want any more. I had a beautiful daughter and never really wanted any more but unexpectedly fell pregnant and had a son 10 years later. My son has special needs and is very hard work. I love him to bits but could not ever contemplate another. I could not cope with another child like my son as much as I love him and I absolutly know I never want another child.
I did not feel like this after my daughter even though I I didn't really think about having another after my daughter I did not feel like I do now. I really think you know when you've had enough. I'f you don't feel that I'd hang on just incase.0

Maybe you should start a fund if you want too, and as you say, if you don't have a baby, you have the money to have some fun with

Another on the way, scan tomorrow Newish partners first and I know she'll be a good mum as she's been Mum to my 7 for the past few months and they love her to bits after having just me for a few years - they do still cling to me though. I don't agree with the snip though. An individual thing.
As you are expecting, you could always join us on the less than 12 weeks pregannt thread (if you are less than 12 weeks) or the MSE pregnancy thread (i'm not pregnant, but I ask questions on behalf of OH) and the parents thread - we are all friendly there
If you want too of course. No pressure 0 0

They also presumably deliver the baby at home, themselves, without any medical attention, insist that the child never go to the doctor or to school, or use any state subsidised transport system etc.
Or perhaps they are one of the magical minority (current number zero), who simply start paying more taxes in proportion to the additional kids they have, thus if they pay 5k and have 1 child, they will volunteer another 15k in tax to cover the other 3 kids.
 Sorry you couldn't get a sh@g.
When i'm old and past it and have my children to look after me, rather than rely on carers and the care system, i'll think of all those lonely folk not as fortunate as me.
Maybe i'm one of those who doesn't look at my kids as financial burdens to myself or any system. Maybe I see them as positive members of society, who are making their father proud, just like the other parents on this board.0

Hi Man on the Moon :hello: I dont think snipping should be compulsory but if one of has to take preventative measures then DH getting alittle knot is less permenant than me getting my bits seen to. (in case of change of heart)
I am now about 17 weeks (lost count already!) I have popped in on the 12 weeks thread now and again but Im sure everybody is bored of me moaning about my neverending nausea and just feeling constantly rubbish. Thanks for the tip re. parenting thread I shall check it out.
wow how did you cope by yourself with seven children? I just think wow it must be like a military operation :rotfl::j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j0

Well, what works for you and yours. I know it's reversible, but the less time spent in hospital the better for me.
I doubt anyone is bored of you, the threads are there for the ups, downs, moans and boasts The parents thread is full of helpful people. The parents thread is full of helpful people.
I won't say it's been easy, but it wasn't as hard as I think people believe it would be. They are good kids compared to most they go to school with, possibly because of what they had to go through with their mothers. I started working from home and it worked well. Now we've sold the land we owned, I get to take 2-3 years off with a new baby along the way, so everyone is a winner (including the taxman after the sale ) )
Wouldn't have done it any different (and I'm proof that anyone can have more happy days in the future)0
