Yes. Go back to the store and explain what has happened. If that doesn't work, call CS in Dundee. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Or by you for letting herself be intimidated ?
She was intimidated by the manager and allowed herself to be talked into a full refund (no R&R). She was reprimanded by me for being so silly and not telling them she'll take it up with CS on Monday. She's going to take it up with now, though. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Amazing amount of posts here in last few days, isn't it great, everyone getting on, and helping tesco with their mispricing problem, by providing them with live intel.
Whilst shopping today, found the wicked vodka that had an empty shelf few days ago and no sel, and the basted chickens.
While on the routine "can u show me sir" walk, CS said that the SEL for the wicked was out of date, and that he had personally taken that one down a few days ago.
Asked him "doesn't someone go round checking the prices" ?
He said "yes, but whats the point when smeone else puts them back up"
Went t the chicken, CS tried to wiggle saying that the offer only applied to the lemon basted ones.
Asked if the sel stating that they were butterbasted ready to roast in the bag was the corresponding sel to product in hand, no more discussion.
Went back to CS desk, offered full R&R with appology, and a very nice CS dude.
With other shopping also got the 5p off a litre so stuck £30 in the tank and got £1.60 back.
Forgot to mention, the psp value pack and tekken as gotw scaned correct @ £199.94, had to do it at CS as lady on till said she couldn't scan the items...lucky escape then.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

You'll have to go back to the store that overcharged you.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

taxiphil wrote:Horrible isn't it. If only they put the same vigour and clinical efficiency into checking the prices in their store, they wouldn't have these problems.
I agree with that taxiphil. I don't really agree with your sig though, I don't think Tesco as an entity is at fault here, especially baring in mind how helpful people like Joanne and Kevin have been.
It is the local store staff who are the problem for not maintaining their stores properly and also for not upholding the policy of the company when they get it wrong.
Not surprising really, if they're not able to do the former they're hardly likely to understand the subtleties of the latter.
As I say though, I actually think Tescos as a company have been fine about this and have probably incurred a fairly hefty loss in the pursuit of customer goodwill...0 -

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -
newbs23 wrote:Hi Guys,
I am looking for some advice. I purchased a PSP console and the so called game of the week from a store this evening. the notice stated "game of the week - Tekken.....Save £10 when purchased with a PSP console".
I purchased both of these and the £10 did not come off. I therefore went to CS to r+r. The manager refused and just offered me the game as an R+R. Is this correct? the way that I see it is that it is a multisaver item. I.e - If I purchased two packs of sausages and it was two packs for a fiver and I was overcharged then I would get a full R+R. Am I in the wrong?
I got a full refund on both the console and the game in the end as the manager would not back down but I do still have the receipt. Can anyone give me some advice who may have had a similar issue before?
Thanks in advance.....
Hi All,
Quick update - I also purchased an Xbox 360 today. Different store, Same problem. Thats two (PSP and Xbox 360) to take to CS on Monday.
I took some previous advice and walked away with the products and receipt with no refunds against anything. Looking forward to Monday :-)
Many thanks for all your advice!
I will keep you updated of any progress.0
