Well I will be making a huge complaint against the store manager in both stores - but especially with regards to store 2. He honestly did make me intimidate me and tried to make me feel as if I was in the wrong!

Does anyone know what the deals are with DSs at the moment? Am I right in thinking that if Brain Training poster is still up, it wont trigger the discount? Can't seem to find stock anywhere!

And? How does that stop me from disagreeing with you? Wether someone is a 'newcomer' or an 'outsider' or 'not local' or however else you want to phrase it I'll help them get what they are after if I know where they can find it. It shouldn't matter if they want some skanky £15 piece of dead cow or a £150 phone - the 'community' of the forum is supposed to help people save money - not spend £30 on petrol if you know there is somewhere with/without one.

After reading your posts (thanks by the way) i went on a mission to find an xbox 360 and luckily enough i managed to find one in prestwick with the posters still up (yipee) but of course had the same agro as alot of people only offered £20, so will wait for tomorrow morning to speak to customer services.

But what about the fact that the offer is still in operation till the 28th of this month (september) should it not matter if they dont have the sign up as we all know this offer exists and even have photographic evidence???

Someone please answer. x

By all means if the pos material is there then BIFF them, if not you don't have a leg to stand on. The minute you try anything underhand or dishonest you lose the arguement for r&r, that is the beauty of r&r it is legal and above board, but as the man says "You don't get anything in this life for free" your payment in the case of r&r is your diligence in spotting it and getting the reward of the item free of charge for bringing it to their attention.

Well spotted, I think I'll bag a few dozen packs of these for the MIL as I don't use a dishwasher, at least I like to think I don't USE her.


Don't follow Tesco's example and become complacent, I wonder how many of you are being robbed blind on things like this because your so chuffed at getting your eggsbocks360 free, check every item on every receipt.

If you were offered the £20, then they have admitted the over charge....phone HO in the morning....
