No it wasn't..... yesterday all the posters were pulled down.

Have just sent my husband out..... I am known to this store...:o .... to go and get us one. I will post back soon. If we have some joy I will post an update. U live in my hunting ground.

Watford is where I got the stella from the other night.... they were very helpful, and my husband was very pleased. He thought I was a bit mad when I started this game, but the beer has now got him on my side.:j :j . I will get back to you. :beer:

Wouldnt it be easier to try and take them back either later tonight or tomorrow first thing then try buying it again in the same transaction at the CS desk?

Haven't been to there as yet. Watford are very on the ball.

They never seem to have all the R&R games that are on here for DS and GBA.:mad:

DH called me from local store...... all the Just Cause games have beem removed from the shelves..... a CS was checking the shelves in detail.... they were there at 11am today...... missed oportunity.

This is worrying me in my case, if I take them back for a refund they might not go back on the shelf

Much as I'd like to agree with you, Ben, and in some regards (poor communication) I do, I simply can't agree that this is just down to the store managers. For some reason, the GOTW advertised on the poster is incorrect (HO issue). The simple solution would be to get the tills programmed to take the discount off when that specific game is bought (in this case, Just Cause). Yes, it will cost Tesco money, as that particular game is not meant to be game of the week, thus the suppliers have not given Tesco a discount on that particular game for pushing it. The loss on the game, however, is going to be less than the cost of refunding all these bundles.

Ummed and Ahhhed over whether to travel 10 miles to my local for the xbox and Just Cause. My devil shoulder was telling me to go for it and RESULT! they were still on the shelf displaying the incorrect poster.

You might be one of the few lucky ones this week. Mr T is gonna have to pull something out of his hat. He will end up with a heck of a job lot of Just Cause to get rid of by the end of the week.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
