Overcharged, but same cs said this one not included in the offer - again .....She still refused the R&R, and didn't think it was worth getting myself an even HIGHER profile by asking for a manger, for £4 worth of stuff.
But I am now even MORE determined to get justice !!
I have the patience, and the time, and now the incentive....I will be back !:cool:

Firstly I cannot believe we have added 8 pages of posts in 6 hours !!!

Anyway.....just as I promised I returned - well to another Tescos and managed R&R of over £20, so my forbearance with the cat food and chocolate paid off ! I know it wasn't a real biggy, but I feel much better tonight. I can now go to bed having had my R&R 'fix' for the day.
I am beginning to feel a real empathy with addicts. I know I shouldn't keep doing it, I know I should have more self control, but when I see even a possibility of an R&R, I cannot resist......it is worse than chocolate

tried Tesco Bournemouth for the vodafone k750i, bought 2 phone at £149.97
No luck as the store manager ( used to work with him 5 years ago) came to argue that the brochure was only for information subject to price change in store. Don't think I will go there for at least a month:mad:
Still waiting for my first R&R.

new to R&Rs but here is what I have been "coincidently" overcharged on in the last week...(working co-operatively with another forum member:))

Sony PSP Giga pack + game of the week
XBOX 360 Core system + game of the week
Sony PS2 + game of the week
Nintendo DS Lite + game of the week
Buffalo wireless router (80quid)
Scooby Doo gameboy advanced game

They're all in the bag minus the DS which is questionable...

On closer inspection after buying it, then sign actually said...10quid off the GAME of the week when you buy the console instead of saying SAVE 10quid on a yellow SEL lable...like the others did...I believe tesco have cottoned on...the game I could get for free but more likely than not I will have to return the DS, as I was overcharged on the game and not on the whole bundle

The posters have said that for the last 4 weeks and the attepmt I made with the large SEL it mysteriously disapeard. The art is convining the CS and manager that it is a bundle and not an individual item. The way that has worked for me was to point out that the discount only applied if I bought both items at the same time, confirm this again be mentioning that if you had only bought the console there would have been no discount repeat the same mentioning the game of the week rather than console hopfully they will then agree with you that it is a bundle. if not take the free game and return the console to another store or the same store within 28 days. I know most people just refuse the lot and take it up with head office but I think the fact that there are now 2 people dealing with all console problems they are making a list of people getting consoles for free as it is very easy to track 2 lists rather than a whole call centre of lists.

going for 2 of the most expensive phone that tesco sell proberbyl want the best way of aproaching things especially when armed with a brochure and not an ovver on the shelf, POS or SEL your chances were serverly reduced as the brochures will have a disclaimer in about prices correct at the time of going to press. but nothing ventured nothing gained.

tbh CS were having none of it in all my stores...so I will just take it up with head office...

one store even claimed that the GOTW offer only applied to the XBOX360 and not the XBOX360core...simply because the sign was placed under one of them...plonkers :rolleyes:

You SCOUNDREL! Im sure you also got a king kong ds game as well as a spyro/crash bandicoot gba game! People like you are a discrace to the nation.

Sorry boys and girls but it is game over. Little John however much you can talk them into it Tescos have from THIS WEEK changed the white posters. They now have a picture of the game saying for example: Game of the week "tekken" save £10 when you buy with a psp console so there is NO WAY whatsoever u can argue that it is for the console also as a package. The wording is crafted differently- crafty !!!!!!s!! That is unless you find the yellow SELS in stores which say save £20 when you buy Sony PSP with game of the week. Then you are perfectly in your right to get a FULL R&R. These yellow SELS are disappearing too. Once again, bin good whilst it lasted (a week for me) but its game over boys and girls...

Dont agree. I managed to get a R&R on the above wording earlier today, much to the displeasure of the 3 old !!!!! CS staff that took an interest in my activity at the local store. I spoke to HO about it and they agreed with me. Still GAME ON!!!:money: :cool:
