  • I'm sure someone with your knowledge wouldn't be overcharged twice ?

Unless even with the overcharge it was still cheaper than Tesco

I knew I was getting overcharged before I went through the till. And I really was only there 'cos it was convenient ;)

I have a friend who works as a security guard at Tesco who tells me R&R is illegal and i just wonder what a security guards job actually is? I thought they were supposed to stop thefts, not purchases that were overcharged. He tells me it is part of his job to check sels and make sure the store is not being ripped off? Surely that is not correct? A security guard would not be trusted with store pricing or am i wrong ?:confused::confused:

By the way, the said person has been known to be econimical with the truth !

Probably not...but what have they got to lose by letting them have a go? :D

r and r is illegal in what way?

Check Sels in what way? I have had security guards randomly check areas before, yes. But I would not class it as one of their regular routines.

Security guards are there to stop loss to the store (among other things). In its broadest sense, that is what an r and r is.

Your edit sounds more like a standard security guard ;)
