Tesco misprice discussion area part 10

Somebody asked a question a few pages back

"if you own Tesco shares can you be banned from their stores as you are in effect a partial owner of the company"

Firstly are Tesco Stores Ltd and Tesco Plc the same company and can anybody actually answer the above question because as you are all aware, I HAVE been banned with no explanation but I also AM a shareholder?

Might go the the next AGM when I get my invite and kick up a stink there

Ive just bought a nintendo ds - they scan up at £96.97.

Go and get one if the signs still up!

how about this one then?

You go into a store and buy a xbox 360 + GOTW and no discount comes off, goto the CS desk and duty manager comes over, he offers you the game for free, as you tell him it is a bundle and you should get it all he says, we had an email this morning warning us of people coming in and getting the xbox 360 and gotw and wanting a free xbox 360. he then goes on to say, so you only came in here to abuse the policy. Obviously answered no, then says contact trade and standards if you want, I couldnt be bothered with an argument so said fiar enough i will have a refund on it all and i will ring HO. the woman took my receipt and kept it, which i think i should have been able to keep. So what do you think HO will say?

I have his name and the refund slip for the amount but no actual receipt.

The nintendo DS in my local store scans at £89.97, or did yesterday. Hence my credit card was unfortunately not in my purse...

does the scanner reflect what is happening at the till? Ie if you scan an XBOX and the GOTW or PSP and the instore scanner indicates no discount have been taken off, does that mean that that will happen at the tills as well?

And if the SEL label has said the offer has expired, doesn't that cover Tesco in not letting you have R&R?

The amazing thing is he's had the email warning about what's going to happen and STILL leaves the sign up and visible? Seriously, I'm assuming to become a Tesco manager, you maybe don't have to pass an aptitude test?

he didnt know where th eposters came from, he said he walked past it this morning and none were up, maybe someone saw then out back and put them up?

There's a very simple solution to the problem of resurfacing posters, and it's one Constantine thought of straight away...


FILE THE THINGS IN THE SKIP.

No chance of them being put up if they have been chucked away.

It's got to be worth a call to Kevin or Joanne, lay it on thick that you were virtually accused of criminal behaviour when you were just buying an offer they advertised. You didn't put the poster back up .... did you? :rolleyes:
