  • Don't accept that. Ring back and tell them what I have just written in my previous reply. If they still won't budge, take it to Trading Standards, as it is an offence to display misleading price indications.

I have email back and awaiting their response. Thanks for the advice though.

Emails get ignored, phone calls don't

Totally agree with this. It's far easier for them to tell you to !!!!!! via email than it is when they're talking to you on the phone. It's also easier for you to get your point across over the phone, as you have the chance to counter all the BS as it is said to you.

    PHONE THEM UP!

It's time to make that change.

So is this the £20.00 off when bought with airtime phone. Did you get a refund already on friday or did they say you were entitled to one and have no refused.

    Thanks

Yes, for the airtime voucher is what I was offered instore. I declined. I emailed, and the email was finally answered yesterday. In the meantime I had called, and they told the store to refund the whole lot - phone and airtime. I went in and collected (after some hassle)

Whilst in my local Tesco I was browsing some clothes for my little boy. Saw the following sign, "2 for Six pound on ANY boys 5 pound Long sleeve tops."
I bought 2. I had bought 2 different ones of these a few weeks ago and they are really nice. After getting through the checkout I checked my receipt and guess what, no discount came off. I went to CS desk and after a 10 minute wait fot the clothing supervisor to come down I explained that I would be back as I had to go and pick my son up from playschool.
When I returned to the shop I was told that I had picked up the wrong ones. I needed to go and change them. I tried to argue the point that it did say"ANY" and the cs girl (different one to before) told me I had been overcharged and that I was entitled to a refund and the item for free. Can some one help me, was I right or was I wrong? Surely if it says "ANY" 5 pound tops I was right. They were both 5 pounds.
    Thanks.

if it definitely said 2 for £5 then you've been overcharged and are entitled to R&R

    I've pm'd you
Didn't get pm but if I have been refunded so should you. The sign is very misleading. I have a copy if you need it.

Uh...stupid question time. Why are you buying a PSP when you got one over the weekend from Tesco? Your first post said that you'd picked up a PSP in one store and an Xbox in another and that you would be talking to HO about both on Monday.
