A question tho - have they (Dundee) ever questioned you about repeat R + Rs ? Yes, I know THEY are at fault, but havent they tried to make YOU feel like you are abusing their system ? (and potentially defrauding them by multiple R + Rs - this is my fear and reason for sudden multiple personality disorder)
No they haven't (in all my many dealings with them) - probably because they know the point I made in my previous post is absolutely true and they would never want to argue against it.
In my own experience I have found the staff at Dundee far more honest and decent than the general standard of pondlife that work in the stores, although you do get the odd incompetent one who fobs you off, but I think this is just laziness more than anything else.
Getting multiple R+Rs is not defrauding or abusing them! Stop thinking along those lines!
I'd never resort to using a false name and address - this is the behaviour of someone who is doing something wrong, which I'm not.0 -

This is the behaviour of someone who doesn't want to be banned from the store, which is a few of us.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

Just to say, I checked in Axminster and the Persil Gel Tablets posted on the misprice thread had the correct SEL of £4.48, so perhaps the person who got R&R on this benefited from an out of date SEL.
I did see Tropicana Go Apple and Pear Juice, 1.25l bottles in the chiller cabinet with two SELs. One said 2 for £1.25, but this was largely covered by an SEL that said 2 for £2.00. Both labels had an expiry date of 03/10/06. The web site says they are 2 for £2.00, so I imagine this is an easy R&R in any store that has the 2 for £1.25 SEL up. I can't verify this though, as I didn't get any.

Thanks taxiphil and myuser...... you have boosted my confidence now. I recently had a run in with a store manager who was very rude and ignorant in his dealings with me, and I guess it had knocked my confidence a bit. (Did report the !!!!!! to HO tho for his attitude) Made me feel like I had to conceal my identity from Dundee if I spoke to them again.
Just to clarify one point however please, guys.
Is the Tekken + PSP pack scanning correctly now, as I have personally seen that the Xbox and Just Cause bundle definetly is being discounted at the till.Badgers badgers badgers .......0 -
I'm pretty sure the PSP + GOTW is still scanning incorrectly (discount not coming off).
However, do not get the giga pack, this is known to be scanning correctly for sure.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

I don't think the base pack PSP or the value pack (white) PSP is scanning with the discount. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

But you would still be banned - but in a false name :rotfl:0 -
seanparkin wrote:I think the only console that the discount still does not work for, is the PSP+gotw (base packs only, in black or white with Tekken. Gigapacks go through correctly with the discount)
I just got back from my local T after trying the Giga pack + Tekken and the £10 came off at the till.
I bluffed my way out of buying it (oooops left my wallet in the car).
So if I go back and get the base pack I could be overcharged?
btw the posters are not yellow, they are small & white right next to the consoles0 -
I think we should stop being horrid to the newbies. For the purposes of tracking down these offers, if your nearest Tesco doesn't sell them, the best way to do this is:
a. Phone customer services up and tell them you've heard they're got a misprice problem with Sony PSPS.
b. Ask them for a list of those stores which still have the misprice poster up
c. Ask them to check the stores nearest you to find one with a misprice poster and the PSP in stock.
d. Ask CS to phone the store and get them to reserve it for you.
e. Give CS your name and email address so they can email you confirmation of your reservation.
f. Go to the store and ask for your items at the CS desk.
g. Pay them
h. Ask for your refund and retain.
The other method, which takes a bit more effort and which is more likely to succeed, is to drive from store to store to store to store until you find one that has this poster up, then take a chance on buying it.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

I would personally try option 1, go on, someone give it a go!I haven't got one!0
