Tesco misprice discussion area part 10

ukmonkey wrote:Ok, I've been this afternoon/evening to my local Tesco (Tesco Extra in Wath-Upon-Dearne). Had a scout around the entertainment section (upstairs, well, up the travelator/escalator thingys) and saw the posters with the offer on, but the offer bit had a piece of white card covering it. I checked the xbox 360 posters, and the ps2's and DS', all covered.
I thought it was yet another bargain I'd missed, only to walk off (I was actually puzzled as to where the console boxes were, as they were nowhere to be seen) and see the shelves that had the console display cases on, and sure enough, here is what I saw:
So, I picked one of the boxes up, and headed back to the games, where Tekkan, and another game (sorry folks, can't remember, I was too excited!) were at the top with big "game of the week" boxes in between the pairs of each game (i.e TEKKAN *GOTW* TEKKAN | OTHERGAME *GOTW* OTHERGAME) and picked a Tekkan up.
I went to the till, sure enough, it didn't knock the money off, although I nearly filled my pants when she said "right, I'll just be a second...", although a sigh of relief was breathed when she finished the sentance with "...I need to just nip in this cupboard behind me for your PSP.".I paid, in cash (didn't want the scanario of them refunding only a tenner to my credit/debit card and saying that that is what I'd agreed). I then collected my schools vouchers (given to a kid outside) and the "5p off per litres of petrol" voucher, and went down the travelator and out of the store.
I stopped, just outside the door (to make it look genuine) and looked at my receipt. Oh gosh, I'd been overcharged....shock horror....how dare they?!
I went back inside, went to the CS desk, and told the lady on there.
It went a little like this...
OMG!
So, off I went, outside. Gave a passing kid the wad of sports for schools vouchers, which was good because he had the uniform on of my old school.
So, thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks to the person who posted this, but I've no idea who you are because I can't find the original post with this offer in, and also thanks to all those who answered my questions over the last few days about R&Ring.

Yasmin, how about instead of asking others for help you go and help yourself? If you live near the above store, go and have a look.0

Are you not listening to what people are telling you?
The chances of a poster still being up after someone has done an R&R are less 1%. The first thing you should do is go and check your local tesco.
Oh, and don't quote such a huge post just to add one line to it - try snipping it down in future..ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

Ken-Dodds-Hairy-Knodule wrote:Indeed. The tesco (any company) board of directors couldn;t give a flying fsck what the courts say. You just have to look at how supermarkets continually flout planning law for evidence of this.
What they understand is a kick in the profits. And R&R is a fscking big kick in the profits when they messup like they have done this month.
I think it's quite selfish to say "But I want free things, don't tell everyone about it". I'd rather everyone knew about R&R rather than it become some sad little exclusive nerds club on the www. The website is subtitled 'consumer revernge' - not 'elitist mdidle class ...... getting more stuff for free even though they have enough already'.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
