    But they issued lots of emails telling stores to remove all POS , managers are far too busy to read emails from HO ;)

    I used my cc for my purchase. I don't have anything to hide. I have not done anything wrong. I was overcharged, I claimed my refund as per Tesco policy. Simple as that. If they want to look at my previous transactions, that's fine.
    Agreed! I happily used my credit card and Clubcard today when I got my R&R on the PSP. I am a genuine customer who has been missold a product because they are misadvertising something illegally. I have absolutely nothing to hide and played it perfectly straight.
    Not only did I get a PSP and game, I also got 21 vouchers for schools, 210 Clubcard points and a fuel voucher :D
    AND best of all - I got to keep my receipt and they didn't take a copy of it, ask for my Clubcard number or a name or address either!

  • this store had the £20 of xbox & gotw poster up (just cause) but there were no consols on the shelf, they did have the game

    also had a nitendo ds gotw poster & a ds lite but no lego game

    might be worth having a look later in the week ( i was in about 5.00pm)

    no luck at longton extra (scanners broken as well) just got noddy

    or meir on Lysander Road (2 scanners one in clothes 1 in crisps) got another noddy

    had a good day at alton towers as well!!

  • I have decided something has gone wrong, as everyone and his dog seems to have a PSP except me! The worst thing is I had the chance DOH! Got to be honest I would have loved one of those things but chose a phone instead (don't you just love those stores where you get to pick which R&R you want hahaha)

    Phoned cs today and they offered me a £18 gift card (the original overcharge) I then mentioned about the R&R policy ,and just when I didn't need it my little un fell over and screamed for england so I had to ask could they ring me back and gave my details .
    should I stick to my guns
  • This is another possible explanation for the receipts request. CS goes in armed with proof of purchase when phoning the store in order to obtain the refund for the customer and bollock the store for not complying with urgent emails from HO.

    I think this will have something to do with it. I remember someone saying in a previous post that they had spoken to a manager and he had received an Email from HO about the Consoles but he had not had chance to open/read it yet. :T

    If HO have sent an Email and they have not checked the Till system then heads will be on the block. I really dont understand all the problems they have as I was a price controller for Sainsburys a few years ago and the barkers and SELs were checked to every day to ensure the offers/prices were correct. Just download the info from the scanner into the Till system and it checked everything and told me where the discrepancies were so the were removed. That was a big store and it did not take that long for the barkers to be checked.
    We took on Mr T and we won:D

    Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:
