I am thinking about trying my luck at getting a ds lite but all this talk of store banning is worrying me is there any truth in it. Also what happens if they somehow weasel out of the refund can u just take it back or say you dont want it in the end?0

Intimidation is not a new tactic, Tesco have been using this method for quite a while0 -

At the end of the day, YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG. Tesco has wronged you! Do you realise that there are many more people out there who bought an Xbox 360 over the weekend and saw that they were overcharged, were turned down for a refund and have phoned CS today, yet they do not post on this thread? Hell, some probably don't even read this thread. It would be impossible to link any poster on here to a specific overcharge by Tesco (the wrongdoers in of all of this!) unless that poster gave very specific details, such as store name and date of purchase, etc.
Seriously, calm down!
OK thanks, I've calm down now.:rotfl:0 -

If the purchase has gone through after the the Email has been issued then HO will be taking it up with the Store Manager as to why the correct action was not taken?
This is another possible explanation for the receipts request. CS goes in armed with proof of purchase when phoning the store in order to obtain the refund for the customer and bollock the store for not complying with urgent emails from HO.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

You are highly unlikely to get banned. If the discount comes off, you have 28 days to return the item unopened for a full refund. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

one other point
I am sure they will be m,atching the times on receipts to check cctv to check whether anyone tampered with posters or to get images of us all
wlfc, they are not allowed to do that. No criminal offence has been committed. It would be an offence under the Data Protection Act to do what you are suggesting. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
