if anyone knew of any stores that were still giving away free consoles they would probably buy them for themselves

That may be true... but here goes anyway - has anyone managed to get a console R&R in any London stores?

If not...here's hoping that next friday's GOTW offers will be just as rewarding as this week's :rotfl:

Went to the next store ( a bigger 1), and this was all covered up with white labels )

The Just Cause bundle now scans WITH discount - so its a no-go until Friday when the GOTW changes again. (it was mentioned earlier, but people are quoting such large previous posts that pages just fly by at the mo)

Has anyone had R&R on phone that was advertised in Tesco magazine (near the phones) cheaper than SEL (someone referred to this, but not on this board) about a week ago.

Let's just get something straight about this, if you alter mutilate or manipulate point of sale material in any way in order to engineer an overcharge, and then subsequently claim or attempt to claim a refund, make no mistake about it you are committing an arrestable offence, and I for one hope you get caught.

Maybe I'm completely wrong but I assumed that the whole promotion would probably end this friday? Only going by the yellow SEL that has the expiry date of the 29th on it?

I think it'll be a case of lookig out for stores still displaying the out of date POS - shouldn't be too difficult

Just noticed the yellow £10 off PSP console or DS.

In my store the label looked the same but said any PSP or DS Console. The manager tried to argue that I had a PSP not a PSP console. I said they were both consoles, but that it didn't matter as that was not what the label said.

She muttered okay.

Got my money and PSP, but just goes to show that these aren't all the same.
