p.s I hope th posting of my receipt helps those of you who are struggling to get your R&R!
  • Hi guys,
New here, I read alot of these posts though, decided to register :)
So I'm going to nip to tesco in a minute to try this.
Is there a way of testing this on the instore scanners? Will it show the discount or is it hit and miss at the checkout?
    Thanks

well I hope not cheekymole in the last 18 months I have had the sum total of 5 R&rs, two of them today !!! I must say the CS were very nice and helpful but I'm more of a voucher user than serial R&r er. If it has a bar code, I will try to use it !

Oh yea, another thing, she CS lady pointed out that the "PSP + 1gb memory stick" had a yellow SEL (a small, normal sized one) on it, and that maybe it was this that was in the offer. I said that It just said PSP on the big yellow SEL, and that I didn't think it would have been the 1gb memory stick one as that was more expensive (what a stupid comment, I mean, they use offers to make you spend more. I'm such a numpty sometimes, I really am!)

Perhaps there might be something in this though. Mind you, neither of the "game of the week"'s (Tekkan and another who's name escapes me) had yellow SELs.

It's all very strange, but OMG!

No the offer will not show on an instore scanner, just grab it and head for the till, if the deal kicks in just change your mind overnight and return it tomorrow, because your little boy's granny went ballistic as she had bought him one for a surprise for Christmas.

Or just realise that you've forgotten your wallet/credit card, or maybe you change your mind and that you're not sure its the right one, so you'll have to check with your kid and pop back if you need it.

I'm sure you would have any trouble taking it back anyway, but it'd be even less trouble to not even buy it in the first place! Good luck!
  • Ok thanks for the tip.

If it all goes wrong I think I'll use the "damn i've forgot my credit card" excuse. :T

Now Hopefully I'm as lucky as the guy above :rotfl:

    PS, Congrats mate
