????? Organisation, Tesco? In the same sentence!!!!

    Sig ah Sig Ahhh
  • In my local Tesco metro I bought 3 choc bars, multisave for 99p. Added a Quorn burger, reduced to 46p

(Really broke, on borrowed money from mates)
Charged £1.92 at till - I said that's not right, mentioned the Tesco refund policy (not displayed) and she says 'only if it goes through and you walk out'!!
So I paid £1.92 and walks to the car. I recheck the prices and go back: of course I was overcharged.
    Thank goodness I bought it!

She calls supervisor to do R&R and I mentioned that I warned them before buying! No quibble R&R from worst overcharging store I know.

Not much of a tip, except don't speak too soon, in case you lose the R&R opportunity.

what is stopping tesco issuing summons to Martin Lewis ? don't you think the information would be handed over ? I'm for one going to change id in the next few days.

Dumb question, totally unrelated to xboxes etc.

I was given a dvd recorder earlier this year by Tesco for helping them identify incorrect shelf edge labels.

It's developed a fault, it won't play or record dvd's which means its uses are severely restricted i.e. holds down the carpet well.

The receipt doesn't mention r and r so I presume there shouldn't be a problem as it's still under warranty. Do I go back to Tesco or direct to the manufacturer?

    Cheers

    couldn't speak.....

    sorry
  • think your taking it way too seriously :) There would be no summons as its not illegal - its using the policy to the word.. not breaking or manipulating the policy afaik :s

    But ok no prob :p

Tesco, they sold you the item, the fact that they later refunded you is of no consequence, even a free gift for example has to comply with the same legislation as any other and be fit for the purpose and of merchantable quality.
