WARNING I bought an XBOX 360 today with Just Cause from an out of date GOTW, and the £20 discount DID come off correctly!!

Also, many many DVD yellow sels all expired yesterday, BUT they scan at the correct SEL price!

Tattinger brut champagne, sel changed to £21.48 - correct price.

Olay body wash BOGOF SEL there as described by OP, but ENTIRE shelf of products cleared out.

This store DEFINITELY monitors this thread as every R+R, even ones reported on here less than 24 hors ago has been corrected. Out od date XBOX offer seems like 'bait' as they have obviously updated the tills to take the £20 off...surely it would have been easier just to take the posters down if they were aware of this..seems like they're trying to catch us out.

Im glad I am finally being charged correctly though rather than overcharged on everything.

But I am very angry that an R+R on a book was refused becasue I used the self scan tills. Then the CS assistant blatently LIED to me and said there were posters by the self scan tills saying the policy was exempt if you use them.

I asked her to show me and she was hesitant. she took me over and of course they didnt exist and she saud 'oh thye must have been taken down'!!!:mad:

I asked for the manager who insinuated that I had put an incorrect price sticker on the book as all the others had the correct sticker. I asked him to check CCTV but he refused. I said I didnt mind not having a refund, but a poster shouldbe displayed saying so, I cant be expected to just guess their policy.

I was treated badly and am writing another letter of complaint now.

me thinks heads will roll after this latest & very expensive fiasco & tesco are fighting back by being petty & banning people. Its the only thing they have left to do

Tesco manager: He was banned because he was abusive to my staff.

A manager can certainly ban you for that! However if it can be shown that Tesco are activly banning people (like people getting together for once) from epressing their legal and religious right as a memeber of a religion from entering then they are on dangerous ground.

He can legally ban you from the store for no reason, he can not legally ban you from the store for expressing a legal and religious right.

So, I've finally read all of this thread.

I got my first R&R on Friday evening, a £9-something half leg of lamb. Price on SEL said £2.something per lb, pack label said £3.something per lb. No problems R&Ring.


Ok, so this PSP....

I've read all the way through and this is what I know:

there is a poster/sel/hanging POS that offers £10.00 off when you buy a PSP and the game of the week. The game of the week on the poster isn't the true game of the week, hence you don't get the discount.

Now, can anyone tell me which PSP the offer applies to (I think it is one priced at about £180.00, but can anyone confirm which this is?), also: what is the advertised GOTW, and what is the TRUE GOTW...?

I'm going to try this at my local extra tonight....

Why not just try petrol / creditcard/ internet shop before you contact them & see what happens. I hope it all blows over after a while & it gets forgotton on their part but not yours!!!!

Care with paying at pump with your credit card, you wouldn't want a digitized voice booming out informing you that you are banned from ALL Tescos! LOL

Why are people moaning I thought the who r+r thing was about getting free stuff from tesco which is what you have done the downside is that you have been banned from the store. I think I will start selling glasses with a tache under them help people disguse them selves LOL

you got a free xbox 360 worth £280 and a free game £40 but you can no longer go in to that store !!!! happens as forest gump said. only time its a problem is if its your local store and I dont do my local for anything big I use them to find out if stuff scanns correctly.

I wouldnt bother or draw attention to it(read my previous answer to you)........I think its an idle threat....Leave it a week and go into a different store, and stand next to the security guy, while reading a mag or something......I bet nothing happens...so if you use cash, they cant detect you...........although thats only my reading of your(and partly my) situation....
