i've had my confirmation text for one of the nights i booked (got too excited and forgot to click yes for the first one!)

My bookings aren't even showing up in the 'My Travelodge' area, but they have charged my card. I usually get confirmation emails straight away too. Hope they have actually gone through!

I've found a weekday night but it won't let me book for two people. It just lets me book for one at that rate?

EDIT Ignore me. Have figured it out. Thanks.
  • Got a couple days in york just before chrimbo, £12.50 a night but still great value, thx!

Yes it's a bargain if you can accept the standard of accomodation.

i've stayed in a few travelodge hotels before. they aren't fancy but it's not like a cheap hotel in soho or something.

what i've seen is staff that aren't necessarily the brightest bunch and slightly rude but sufficient, stuffy hallways and be prepared to walk a distance as they are normally rabbit warrens.

slightly confusing heating and light systems (you have to put your keycard in a slot by the door to get anything electric to work in the ones i've stayed in) and a basic room.

BUT they have all been clean, in excellent locations, they give extra pillows and tea/coffee with no complaints so i have no quarrel with them at all

i think the clue is in the name TRAVELodge not 5 star hotel! i just need a place to spend the night so i don't have to trudge home and limit my activities due to train schedule and possibly weather, these work just fine for that
  • Ive just booked a night in brighton on xmas day :rotfl:
It seems that if the 25p rooms are gone itl come up full price/12.50, so there are some left, keep looking!
Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p
  • My confirmations have now come through. Happy days!
    Thanks OP

I found a couple at the 25p rate, but when I tried to buy it changed to a full rate. It still shows as 25p though. Oh well, worth a go.
