I knew there was a reason I refuse to eat fast/junk food!0 -
I have just left McDonalds after working on the dining area over the summer. I am a bit older than some of the staff but not the only older person working there. In reply to the posters who talked about the young employees I would say from my experience that the people who were at college and working part-time were far nicer to work with than the people who have made McDonalds their career and could be b!tchy.
I was actually glad to leave as I found it very difficult to work with people who had very limited understanding of English because it isn't their first language. Please don't think I am being racist I am not. Communicating was difficult but also the fact that one young person in particular refused to check/clean the toilets (why be able to have a job as a cleaner then?), wear a silly hat like everyone else etc. made working alongside her hard work especially being told "You clean toilets I no clean toilets" by some little !!!!!! young enough to be my daughter.
I didn't see any unhygienic practices though and I too think these are 'urban myths'. No three or twenty minute rule either.0 -
does any1 have a link to this policy? i'd like to print it out and take it in with meA good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute ...:A0

Last month I was at a restaurant and the service was awful, with one of the Fruit Shoots being half-drunk when I was given it.
I put a complaint on their website. The store manager phoned me and I went through the incident - more for Health & Safety than anything else, including describing the 'assistant'.
As a result they've sent me some vouchers for free meals.

Its like if they stuff up your order (eg. you order a sandwich with no onion and its got onions in it) they have to replace the ENTIRE ORDER, and give you your money back for the ENTIRE ORDER as well.
At burger king they should too. I got mine and my friend's meals all replaced AND refunded recently as they put a beef burger in a veggie burger I ordered!!!0 -
It makes me so angry that people always rant at McDonalds on this site if someone merely mentions it. Just keep this about Money Saving, rants elsewhere please!!0

it is money saving fender, our rants about mcdonalds are only because of their poor service for money, and because we could be intitled to refunds. so shhA good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute ...:A0
