ok, end of the day for Luc's challenge....
1. Approach EVERYTHING you tackle today with a 'can do' attitude yep, did that - seem to go through life with a very positive smile on my face these days
2. Put 5p extra in the saving/debtbusting pot Found £1.47 in an account that goes in BB's fun pot and had 50p over from ebay postage - it all helps!
3. Tell someone you love them Did that
Well.....in a very round about way :rotfl:
4. Declutter one drawer/cupboard - bin anything broken/unsellable and charity shop/ebay the rest Didn't do this, but posted the ebay stuff I sold a couple of days ago, so in a way de-cluttered as it's not in the house now!
5. Write your Xmas card list ( I know but there's only 120 days to go!) erm.......7 family members, 3 neighbours (only because they send me a card!), that's about it for cards!!

Think Im going to have a go at the plum vodka for Christmas. Did a hamper for my mum last year and she loved it. It wasn't very MSE though in that nothing was homemade, but it had things that she would never buy herself like a new jumper - can't remember the last time she bought any clothes for herself, some expensive Crabtree & Evelyn handcream that was an unwanted gift, a wheat bag for her neck etc and she loved it. She wants to give me the hamper back so that I can use it again this year. Will use the voddy and add some other things.
Fed up with this rubbish weather now. Enough rain already.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Okay, I can get to next Thursday without having to do any shopping, and then I am away for the weekend and the kids are at their Dad's. I hardly have any fruit for lunch boxes, but I have some satsumas, tins of pineapple and boxes of raisins, and I can do carrot sticks and maybe go and pick some blackberries so that should be okay.
Meal Plan
Friday
Chilli chicken skewers, sweetcorn, potato wedges
Saturday
Tuna pasta bake
Sunday
Beef stroganoff and rice
Monday
Cheesy omelette with baked beans, carrot and cucumber sticks
Tuesday
Chicken casserole, Eve's pudding
Wednesday
Chicken and lentil curry
Thursday
Bacon butties, fruit salad"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

literally - just chuck it in the bottle (any kind of screw top bottle - wine/water/squash etc). Use whatever's available on the trees or get reduced fruit from the supermarket. I did amazing apricot brandy a few years back when Tesco had some lovely fruits at 10p per pack.
Sloes are abundant at the moment for gin, blackberries are around as well if you fancy a bit of hedgerow brandy/vodka/gin.

Whatty - :rotfl: I'm a tough cookie, huh?

That's a point, I could just buy some little half bottles of cheap vodka and just make new labels for those. I only need to make 3 or 4, so it won't cost the earth, and if I do some sort of confectionery too, I can just add a £10 voucher to each, or a book or something. I am liking this plan!
Just checked in my purse as I had some money left from the weekend and realised I had 3 x £2 coins in there, so I have resurrected my £2 pig. It has lost its stopper, so I have just taped it up, which will make me less inclined to dip into it anyway, I hope! I would have just spent that £6 on rubbish at work, no doubt.

apricot brandy sounds lush too. do you just do the same? put apricots in a bottle and add brandy? does the vodka and brandy take on the colour of the fruits?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000
