I might do something homemade-y for Xmas presents this year, but I don't know what. Some sort of boozy truffles would be fun. Then I could just get vouchers to put with them, and I don't have to spend a fortune.

My credit card is currently standing at around £1000. :o And there are other things I can't avoid paying for in the next few weeks, so it will end up being more than that. Crap.

Hi all! Just off to get ready for my Vie party tonight. Not really wanting to do it but need the money!

Zoo stayed dry today which was nice. Had a typical 'Bunny' moment and laughed so hard in the monkey enclosure as 2 monkeys decided to 'get it on' right in front of me and the kids. It was so funny, and yes, I am aware I am extremely juevenile. (sp?)

Then we saw some elephants getting randy! (and let it be known that comparitively, elephant willy's are not that big) Honestly, I have not laughed in such a long time like that. I had to sit down because I nearly wee'd my pants.
Anyhoo, off now, catch you all tomorrow night, the kids and I are off to Barmouth tomorrow for the day.

    :D

Snags, i made truffles - just chocolate, cream and something to roll them in - cocoa, chopped nuts or melted chocolate.

i also made discs of chocolate on greasproof, then put a few bits of dried fruit and nuts from Waitrose Luxury Fruit n Nut (cranberries, giant yellow raisins, pistachios, brazils, pecans).
