Ooh really looking forward to tomorrow now, gym and swim in the morning, pick up the textbook for my course from the post office, and have booked for an aromatherapy massage and facial in the afternoon (one of those Groupon offers, was £18 instead of £60) :D

  • Pooky, that's my concern with doing one of those stitch your photo things. I'm borrowing one from a work colleague, so I'll be able to have a play around and see.

I really want to go home and sleep!

Gosh! Hope everyone's ok - I'm sending good thoughts to everyone and lots of :grouphug:

I'm off work until Tuesday now - so I'm vegging out today and then tomorrow I'm going to sort things into piles and ebay stuff! As well as do laundry, hoovering and other houseworky things.

I still have £3 in my purse from the £7.50 I had at the start of the week, so feel rather accomplished.

And Luc - I can do the rest of the challenges but 3. I'm alone at this stage in my life...unless I tell you all I love you? :D (there's #3 ticked off :rotfl:)

Will post a separate thread but wondered if any of you wondrous people could help.

I have a friend who recently bought a new mattress. The company originally delivered the wrong mattress and have not yet collected it. Is there a period after which you can dispose of the goods without repercussion? (I seem to recall a 30 day rule?)

    Sorry not sure Luc.

I went to the gym, it was much nicer than I was expecting and the staff seem good, really helpful (the one who showed me round was quite cute too). Can't wait to get started properly :j

gosh Im tired....have been to old house, done 2 loads of washing...didn't unplumb machine as I thought id do it on sat morning. Loaded the car to the brim again, dropped a swing off to a friend and he bought us lunch at his garden centre, driven home and now I could quite easily have a snooze. Have a mountain of wet washing now and im seriously thinking about buying a tumble dryer if I can find one small enough to fit in a tiny space!

  • I don't think it has stopped raining for 24 hours now. And it is so cold that I am thinking of putting the heating on for an hour later.

Caught up on all my Brownies accounts and paperwork. So much for a week in the garden. :(

I'm going to have faggots and pease pudding for dinner - winter food.
