I do the fruity thing with Rum instead of brandy, bung the raw fruit in with equal amount of sugar to fruit and swirl around every week or so until the sugars dissolved....it needs at least 3 months to mature and you can either take the fruit out and use it in a flan or a jelly and strain the rum through a muslin cloth to make it nice and clear or leave it in and enjoy the chewy bits.

Have been trying to crochet a flat circle and it's not working....I'm getting soooooo annoyed with it and it's now got to the " I will keep going until I ruddy well suss it out" stage....not even sure what I want to do with a crocheted circle but it's the sheer principle of it.
Crocheted table mats are nice ( especially round ones) Pooky will love to help I'm sure.:D

Claire, flavoured vodka would probably be easier to make for this year and maybe aim for next year with the wine.
You can buy the cheap stuff and soak the labels off to gift it.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
