Fannyanna - if I have understood your issue correctly, I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of periods.
I was on the injection for years (4/5 maybe?) then came off it 4 years ago.
From what I remember it look a few months for my periods to go back to normal and I did not have one in all the time I was on the injection. My periods have been more stable and less painful since and as said elsewhere I have a true 28 day cycle which I understand from here is a perfect cycle?

Oh - and before the injection I had horrific periods. As in fainting/time of work for the pain. I cannot tolerate any oral pill (have been on each one since 15 due to horrific periods), and cannot take the injection due to my low bone density.

What I am saying (she gets there eventually) if you have been on long term contraceptives it takes a while to get a normal cycle but, for me at least, it has no long lasting cycle effect. To my knowledge obviously I've not been pregnant before.

Ok very new to this TTC game.

Just done my 2nd ovulation test and two lines look pretty similar. I've just been staring at it for ages (can't anymore as it's been more than 10 minutes) to try and figure out whether they really are the same and it's a positive or whether one is slightly faded and it's therefore a negative. Last night's was a negative.

CD1 for me, couple of days earlier than I had thought which makes this a 24 day cycle so looks like my timing was all wrong lol

Anyway, means I can use my monitor properly this month :) Good luck to everyone :)

I had my hormone test on CD2-5, not CD21 I think QQ said,
CD3 test is for the general hormones (incl PCOS), CD21 test is to check to see ov has happened, hence 7 days after ov;)
More confusion... Got a strange nipping feeling at belly button 10dpo and have had light spotting since. Now 13dpo and af due tomorrow.
    Still getting bfns :(

Period is never early and usually only spot the day before and this is been happening 3 days before.
    Let's hope it was implantation:)

    You must've ov'd between CD8 & CD14. I'm really envious of short cycles:o
Hope you'll get your timing right with the monitor:)

Morning all, wow, how things can change in 24 hours. About five minutes after my last post yesterday, I was called into the board room and put at risk of redundancy!
I now have two weeks (on gardening leave) to think of ways to save my job!!
Otherwise, I will be joining the long list of unemployed!!
    I'm still in shock......

I have no idea, to be honest, I just can't think straight right now. I'm just so sad right now. I love my job and the people and just can't imagine wworking anywhere else...

    ((HUGS)) MrsVicx!

I think it's worth preparing for the worst case scenario now, just in case, but also focus on hanging onto your job. That way, you'll be OK if the worst does happen.

It's horrid, I know. My sister's OH was in a similar position twice in the last year where he had to re-apply for his own position. He managed to get through it both times, and hold onto his job, so I really hope you can do the same too!

I just don't know what to do, I'm the only one in my department, so it's not even like I will be reapplying for it, if the position is gone, it's gone.
I so don't want to have to stop ttc... :(
