cclare - *hugs* really sorry to hear about your job - what is it you do? really hope things get better for you soon

sorry for all those that nasty, nasty witch got
  • Thanx Gemma and Countrybum, its the pressure im under, there were 3 administrators in my office at the beginning of the year (taken over from a previous company last year) and our jobs were made redundant but with an opening for an operations coordinator (fancy administrator) i was selected for that job but the amount of work that is expected of me is enough for at least 2 people, leaving at 5oclock is now a distant memory, im having to stay late till 7ish just to get the days work done. Wouldnt let me have any help because they made redundancies.....i have holiday booked coming up but have no cover at all as no other admin people so they have finally let me have a temp but obviously going to take time to train someone up to cover the amount i do. I have people chasing me all the time, hardly have a lunch break and having to wing it on a brand new system with hardly any training...its crazy just feel like noone gives a dam :(

Fwiw, I think the up to 12wk preg thread is probably used for the people who generally get preg without TTC. From what I could tell from OPs post was that she had been preparing (and therefore, in a sense, TTC - like some on here?) for pg for a while, so probably this is where she thought it would be relevant? And if she wasn't pg she wanted to join. That's how I took it, anyway - but I realise I've not been on here for anywhere near as long as some of you guys have :o

BigZippy Thanks for trying to understand where i might be coming from, when i was just to excited to express myself properly and with sensitivity. I've just popped back to apologise again to anyone i upset with my poor choice of words. Its a bit horse- door- bolted-after, but i've gone back and edited my post to say that i might have got very very lucky. To maybe explain (but not excuse myself), i have been watching the thread since end of last year whilst preparing to start TTC, with BBT tracking, Ov testing, working up my cycle etc, but didnt really think i could join in, as DH and i werent ACTUALLY DTD properly to try, so not really TTC. But i've felt for many of you whilst you were trying to find your Ov days, getting back into cycle after the pill etc, as i was really struggling myself and just not getting any +ve results on the ovp front. So kind of feels a bit like i have been through the TTC mill for 6 months, although i know its not the same.

Anyway, i apologise again, and keep my fingers crossed for everyone. I've not had anything other than a vfp on the tests, so no more certain that i am pg than i was before..

((HUGS)) to all those who need them!

CalamityClare - that's an awful lot of pressure to be under day in, day out, with no forseeable change in sight. Could you survive on OH's wage alone for a few months? That way, you could leave and concentrate on finding another job. Retail work would be less money, but a hell of a lot less pressure and is probably one of the easiest jobs to find (because of high staff turnover) right now. Is that an option?

At least that way, you might not be earning the same, but still be enough to continue TTC'ing.

Had a gross start to the day here. We thought we heard mice in our apartment over the weekend, and when we checked for evidence, we were proven correct. ICK! Unfortunately, a down side of living so close to water and we cannot (yet) find where they are coming in from. Anyway, we had a thorough (and I mean thorough!) clean over the weekend, and got some traps and poison. Well, they didn't fall for the traps on Sunday night, but OH added more bait last night and one of them took it. Not exactly what I wanted to find first thing in the morning! And that is why I was feeling nauseous this morning! BLEUGH! Oh well, one down at least.

As for weird dreams.....God help me if that's a pregnancy symptom cos I have VERY weird dreams as it is. Last night involved me having a new baby girl, named Clara (not a name that either OH or I would chose), but I was so unprepared when I was due to leave the hospital. All I had was a car seat, with wheels (!), and everyone thought I should be pushing it along like a pushchair! OH went off to get the car and stuff, and then some of my friends showed up and were adamant that I go to view a flat with them! So I did, and it was in a really rough part of town, and was a complete tip and I was desparate to get out. Then people were trying to steal my baby, and I managed to get away and find OH again, but when I looked down our newborn baby was now 3 or 4 months old and I was absolutely gutted that I had missed out on enjoying those precious early days. And then I woke up!

What crazy stuff will I dream about when I am pregnant????? lol
