I ovulated last sat, we had sex on the Thursday and for the last week i have been feeling sick (not actually been sick) also had itchy nipples and very tired, however i took a test this morning (Superdrug early response or something) and it was negative, i am not due my period until this Fri or Sat - due you think there is still a chance i could be pregnant??
So you ov'd on Sat 9th? Then you should be 9DPO, yes there's still possibility you are pg:)

    Here are the statistics:

Hello, I have been suffering with really bad period pains again today-have given in and taken painkillers as I was in agony :( Still no period though, which frustrates me. Come on AF......(of course I wish i was pregnant and no period at all, but i know the pains etc are a sign it is on its way).

    Hi Mutron!:D

I know the feeling, back away from google! I have avoided it since TTC.

Did the same as you with coming off the pill in Dec 10 in readiness to TTC as of March/ April to give it time to get out of my system completely but cycle appears to be a bit screwy still:o

Evening all, now off to weightwatchers, ditching the gym as still feel coldy tonight and think i've put on weight as just wanted stodgy comfort food last week and had nommy reggae reggae pizza from dominos on sat night (and left overs on sunday:o) and it was lush but soooooooo bad:rotfl:

arggg my hormones have gone crazy over the last couple of days, I even managed to cry last night watching The Rugrats Movie (yes I was being childish) when Dil is born. I cried at a child's cartoon!!! Then cried this afternoon when some games I bought were cheaper than what I was expecting... what????? It doesn't even make sense.
Strange weekend, the OH came up to me on Saturday and finally said he wanted to marry me next year (he's a bit of a commitmentphobe). Hasn't actually proposed but I know it's something that we have discussed for a long time (been together 8 years) but never thought he would want to actually get married. So went to my work (sports club) and asked them about having my reception there as there's loads of space and a really nice function room, need to know as there's only one other place that we can have a reception around here and it books up so fast. Had to ask as there's only 2 members of staff that work there and I am one of them, some how don't want to be behind the bar on my wedding day. So wanted to know if they could cope with a wedding with short staff supplies. Unfortunatly all of the people that were there at the time that I asked are divorcees, so practically they just turned around and told me never to get married as it will only end up in doom and gloom. Defintely not very happy with them! Good job they don't know that I am ttc as that would really get them started.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    Hey QQ,

    I'm 98% positive I ov'd on CD 14.. so 6DPO :D

FF is just being slow to update as I haven't added a few temps (had some very restless nights so not accurate) I've manually put in an ov line for now

Did someone say a pg symptom is weird dreams? I've had the weirdest ones the last few days... and even one this morning about biting the end of my BBT (alarm set 10 mins early so I just stick it in my mouth and drop back off!) I was so convinced I had I double checked when I got in from work :rotfl:

Not hoping too much this month, busy social lives mean that we've been crossing paths and not having to much time to BD... oh well, there is always next month :o
  • Hi all,

im sure i spend half my life catching up on this thread lol hope everyone is ok

    It's a money saving forum after all:o

I've been on this thread for a long time, since Dec 2009, and there were always new people posting to say they've conceived.
    I don't think there's anyway around that:o

They don't mean to boast or anything, they are just happy.
There will always be those posts, so don't get stressed up, PMA:j
    It'll be our turn next:beer:

u are so wise QQ very nicely put :)

For what my opinions worth, and from what I gather, I think it was the 'wording' of the pg announcement that caused some upset, not the actual announcement itself. To say 'I've nailed it first time' may imply that they 'got it right the first time' when, really, it's not a case of 'getting it right.' I don't think the OP meant this but I can understand how it could be taken offensively.

and you smash, i agree very poor use of words but can see both sides

not much to update from me but....i need to vent.....i do not think im going to conceive any time soon while im so stressed out in my job, having an awful time and found myself going out to lunch today just to sit in a carpark and sob....pathetic that a job can reduce me to that but it just really gets too much sometimes. I really try to stay positive but get knocked back down so many times. A part of me thinks i should just leave but would mean putting ttc on hold again but im not going to fall like this anyway am i?

Sorry for doom n gloom just had to get it out somehow :(

aww, clare that sucks. what sort of work do you do? Is it people or the work? I hope things work out.

As a relative newbie can I pipe up about the announcements without prior posts? I can completely understand that this isn't what people want to hear if TTC for a while and it breaks your heart a bit everytime it doesn't work out, but in the post the lady did say about things she had been using (which I hadn't heard of) to help TTCing so in that respect was a bit helpful.

I think if I had been thinking about joining th thread and seen how upset people got prior to joining it may have put me off a little bit as I wouldn't want to upset anyone or feel like I had been disrespectful and maybe would feel a bit intimidated if just reading the final pages and seeing that. I can definitely see both sides of the story though (slopes back off into the corner)

Didn't lose any weight this week, but chuffed with that due to binges last week (medicinal ones though, honest!)

Happy BDing everyone, hopefully will see some more BFPs shortly:)
