I can't possibly have ov'd as been doing opk's since CD14 and nothing +
was doing hpt's around that time too and watched them go to - over a week! It's very strange but deffinately know I'm not preg (unfortunately) humm guess will see what the next few days bring. Anyone else......................?
Hang in there, your temps doesn't look like you ov'd yet:o0 -
Hi, remember me!!! can I come back and join you guys. Cant officially start TTC til end of next month as I had a drug(beginning with M!!) that would harm a baby if I tried sooner. However I am still showing a positive hpt, does anyone know how long this shows after a mc? Have had 2 lots of bleeding lasting 8/9 days which could have been my period? I know I am not pregnant as I was bleeding til the other day!!! Confused.com0

Hi Jules, sorry to see you back:o (((hugs))).
In my mc, I tested positive after what I thought was my AF 2 weeks after the mc op, so I waited until my next AF to test again, and it was negative. So all in all, it took about 7 weeks bearing in mind I didn't test between week 2 & 7.0 -
I think your right Euro, just have to accept thats how it is, and sometimes these announcements will p**s us off, but just to have to think, one down, me next!?

I love that attitudeI really try to feel like this. It's unfortunate that this is my 28th month of trying and nothing has happened and there's always the "it's not fair" every time someone gets a BFP. But I wouldn't want any of you to have to wait this long. There is the trying for more than 12 months thread but the talk there seems to focus a lot around IVF and that sort of thing which is just not what I want so I just post here and try not the let those sorts of posts bother me. I really think it's so insensitive to pop up just to post news of a BFP, unless it is accompanied by some sort of helpful hints or some story to give us all hope. However I find it's the same in real life - I have people who know we are trying telling me over and again that they got PG the first month of trying. I guess some people just don't think and it's worth putting up with occasional insensitive posts for all the support and niceness from other users on here.

One of them lives in Bath, so we are staying with her there and the weather is forecasted to be lovely and sunny! Wahooooo! And, we are also planning on having a webcam chat with our other friend who is in Aus, one morning (either Sat or Sun).
And it's Easter soon - if ever you needed a good reason to eat chocolate this is the perfect excuse.
Oh yes, and I bought another new dress this weekend.......whoops! Well, I had an Alice in Wonderland outfit planned for a fancy dress night in May, only, when it arrived it was so short it was only decent for the bedroom! So, I have bought a more suitable blue dress and am going to accessorise it instead.
xx
Have a brilliant weekend.
I've already started on the chocolate, unfortunately I ate so much of it this morning I feel completely sick!
Bedroom outfit and an excuse to buy a new dress. Lucky you (and your OH)
I bought a new dress at the weekend as well actually (plus 4 pairs of shoes and 6 handbags). DH was even worse but we hardly ever get to spend money on ourselves and if I was PG I know we wouldn't have been able to buy any of this stuff. So that is one good point about having to wait longer for my BFP.Just been told I have to work late tonight. Feel like shouting at my boss "I CAN'T, I'M OVULATING!!!" lol
:rotfl:
Tinksy - sorry your weekend was carp.Mozzy - That did make me chuckle!
Right ladies quick question - my cycles are 29 days and my LP is 12days, however this month I ovulated 2 days late, so will this affect my cycle taking it to 31days or shorten my LP to 10days??
Knicker watch today is driving me bonkers!!!
I know they say your LP is always the same length but I am pretty sure mine isn't. I've ovulated on different days and my cycles have stayed the same length. But then last month I ovulated fairly early for me and my period was 2 days early. Hmmm I guess that's not very helpful for you, sorry.
I am seriously considering acupuncture now. Just need to work out if it's worth joining the healthcare thingy which gives you money towards acupuncture, optical costs, dental costs etc etc.0 -
Thanks QQ, I should be patient!!! Just glad to have stopped bleeding.I have been an avid lurker, but great to be able to join again.0

Are you going somewhere nice?:DI am seriously considering acupuncture now. Just need to work out if it's worth joining the healthcare thingy which gives you money towards acupuncture, optical costs, dental costs etc etc.0 -
Jules, the drug you had would be Methotrexate I'm guessing.
Sorry for your loss2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Sorry to see you back Jules. ((HUGS)), but we'll all welcome you back of course.
xxxx
MTH - I already started on the chocolate too. I've even way too much junk this weekdn :whistle:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
6 handbags?
Are you going somewhere nice?:D
Healthcare thingy sounds good, but will it pay for fertility stuff? If there's no specific causes - like you & me?
I just seem to go through bags at a ridiculous rate. Most are for work though but this year is wedding central (5 to go to!) which has meant lots of dress/bag/shoe shopping.
It doesn't cover fertility stuff, but does cover acupuncture for whatever you want it for with no need for a referral from your Dr. There's somewhere not too far from us that does acupuncture specifically to target infertility so would be worth a shot.
I've just been looking at the plan actually and you get a cash lump sum on the birth of a child, but there is a 12 month qualifying period. I am hoping that is a sure-fire way of getting a BFP in the next 3 months so I'm going to join.0 -
Yes Lisa The drug was Methotrexate. I had a sort of ectopic pregnancy that was in th c section scar so dangerous to do an ercp.Have bled a lot since but thinking it was that drug. Hoping things will settle soon.0
