((hugs)) Kellyg and well done on getting your numbers down.

    *goes back to lurkdom*
  • Evening all Soz for bailing on you for a while there!!

Congrats twilight and tinkerbell - I'll be sad to see you go!!!

Welcome newbies and longtime lurkers and thank you for the encouraging post with regards to IVF and your beautiful babies!!! I got axwarm fuzzy glow in the pit of my tummy whilst reading it!!!

So with new year fast approaching I've vowed to lose the excess weight and take it seriously from now on, made a trip to mr T's today and was so overcome by how much I wanted to lose the weight I filled my trolley with loads of fresh fruit and veg!! I know what to do I just have to take it seriously and put what I know into practice and at least then I'll know I've eradicated at least 1 hurdle that is preventing me from TTC!!!

As you can tell I'm in a really good place at the moment and I hope to stay there for the rest of 2011 and make sure I make my dreams come true!!! Who's with me???

I've had a few down days of late and I think my last straw was when I suggested a glass of wine with dinner to DH and wound up drinking the lot and landing in a heap on the bed in tears!!! Poor Connor didn't k ow what had hit him, he didn't know whether to hug me or run away luckily he knew that just cuddling up next to me would help loads!!! My best puppy!!! So January brings another visit to a new baby but I'm glad DH postponed this month as he knew I wasn't strong enough after getting my hopes up this month!!! Saw a friends new born on boxing day he was just lush and can't wait to have our own!!!

On and on I go!!! I'm feeling good!!! (((HUGS))) to those that need them especially GG and SBDTA XxX

debsmc - bless little connor! :) good luck with the weight loss - i've put on a stone since last june - it's got to go!!

CD20(29) for me - roughly 7dpo. Been gassy, crampy with backache. Really bad backache - it hurts. :( Difficult not to compare my symptoms chart with my successful symptoms chart......

Back at work for 2 days now - at least it's quiet. :o

    xDx

Hey all! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Some of you may remember me I've been lurking / posted here a few times before! Well I'm back! Me and my bf are officially TTC!!! :j
We have "properly" dtd every other day for a week now. The only thing is I have very messed up cycles so i have literally no idea what CD im on atm :( we are just going to see what happens and if AF arrives then I can start properly charting from there. I have started to take Folic Acid tablets. Are there any others I should take? Im very excited about this and especially as my bf now is too! :) Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

I think you're right to just go with the 'wait and see' approach this cycle. If AF does arrive, keep a note on a calendar. Other than that, BDing every other day is a good start but the best advice is to chill out and enjoy it. We all have to remind ourselves this sometimes! Folic Acid is the only thing I take (when I remember).
