Evening ladies!
I have been AWOL for a few days as I've been ill AGAIN... I've had this chesty viral thing that is going round and spent Christmas Day & Boxing Day in bed... Feeling a bit better today but still not out of pyjamas. Have scanned through the thread, ((hugs)) to those that need them.

Thanks twi1ight, good luck for tomorrow.
Sorry GG, 2011 will be your year ;-)
Smash7 hope you feel better soon, a few family members have been poorly too.
So today I cleaned the patio doors, inside and out ! I then spring cleaned most of the downstairs - OH thinks its hilarious. I wonder what other nesting things I will do, lol, and when it will all wear off !
I've had terrible toothache since xmas day and my gums are sore - think I need to go to the dentist but worried about going until I know the outcome of this months bd'ing.

Hi everyone, I'm here for a bit of a vent I'm afraid. Really hate to bring down the mood but events of the last few days are getting me down. Well, as you may know, gunny and I have been trying for a long time ronni avail. On Christmas eve, I found out a member of my family had an abortion for the simple reason that it wad just not convenient for her.
I'm trying very hard to see things from her point of view and, on the surface I am being as supportive as possible, but inside I am just so torn. I am so desperate for something she is seeing as inconvenient. She's married and financially comfortable but has 'plans' fir the next few mnths, travel etc.
I would never say anything to her or the family but I am feeling so upset. I know it is her body and her decision and I suppose my feelings are not directed at her, more at the unfairness of the situation.
Sorry for the negativity girls, I just needed to vent!

Hiya,
I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas! It's amazing the preparation/exictment/present buying/stress that builds upto it and it's all over in a flash!
Well I am now CD49 (55+). Im not really sure if my cycles are going to be consistantly long. I thought i had ov'd at CD22 but i'm guessing I didn't!
It's strange because I was having all the usual signs for AF on weds/thurs till saturday and I was conviced it was coming the whole time. But since yesterday the syptoms have completely gone! I have done a test today which was BFN but still no sign of AF. Whats strange as well is I have been in the foulest mood which I don't usually get with AF! And usually I would get symptoms at the earliest the day before AF is coming! I really don't know what's going on!?!?! If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
Anyway, I'm so impatient at waiting for it to happen I thought i would see how much CBFM's are. I looked a while ago and thought they were about £80-£100. But Amazon are currently selling it for £56 and a pack of 20 sticks for £15 so £70 in total which I thought was a bit of a bargain! I don't want to encourage anyone to spend but thought I would let you all know incase interested
Am I right in thinking I need to start using it at CD1? I'm hoping AF doesn't start before it arrives if it's going to!

I worked on the ward where people go for abortions and it was hard. I was actually pregnant with DD at the time and it was difficult.
Well I think we're definitely out this month. CD18 today and we've only BD'd twice so far. I haven't been keeping track or doing opks so no idea when I ov'd. I haven't had the usual pains that go with ov so am absolutely clueless.
Although I have some great news - my sister has been trying for 3 years for a baby and has PCOS. She started metformin in October and got pregnant on the first cycle! I've known for about 3 weeks, but she waited until xmas day to tell my mum and dad so I didn't want to jinx anything by telling anyone else first!
We're off to the sales today. Hope you all have a good daySealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
