  • Oh my word, I'm bricking it. So so glad I'm off work this week to give me a chance to get over the shock.

We DTD everyday from cd23-26 and ov was cd25. It was my second month of temping and I'm glad I was because ovulation was 5 days later than last month so if I hadn't been temping I don't think I'd have carried on that long (had been every day or other day since cd15 in anticipation of when I thought it was coming and was knackered!).

Symptoms have been few so far and most could be explained by other things. For example, I've been exhausted and sleeping about 12 hours a day the past few days but put that down to a really hectic and stressful few months at work and thought I was just winding down now I have some time off. My b o o b s seem a bit bigger but hardly noticeable and I thought it was just because I have put on some weight since September and been stuffing my face all Christmas. I had really bad AF type cramping at 10dpo and thought it was the witch on her way but it stopped and I didn't get any usual spotting. The past few days have had light cramping/twinges. Hard to explain them, like AF but not quite. You know when you feel nauseous and think you might be sick but then when you're really going to be sick you *know*, or when you're dreaming, you think it's real but when you're awake you *know* it's real. The cramps are like that, feel like AF but not really AF. My hair is suddenly greasy and needs washing everyday (put that down to being away and different water) and I was feeling dizzy and light headed yesterday morning but blamed that on staying with relatives who had the heating on really really high when I normally keep it pretty cold at home.

Last month I just temped, this month I temped and started monitoring cm, next month was planning to start with OPKs. I'd absolutely recommend charting to anyone. I didn't have the foggiest about my cycle before hand. A thermometer can be had for less than a fiver on fleebay and you're away.

I'm sticking around here to see you all get your BFP in January. Hugs to all.

    xx

    Hiya,

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas! It's amazing the preparation/exictment/present buying/stress that builds upto it and it's all over in a flash!

Well I am now CD49 (55+). Im not really sure if my cycles are going to be consistantly long. I thought i had ov'd at CD22 but i'm guessing I didn't!

It's strange because I was having all the usual signs for AF on weds/thurs till saturday and I was conviced it was coming the whole time. But since yesterday the syptoms have completely gone! I have done a test today which was BFN but still no sign of AF. Whats strange as well is I have been in the foulest mood which I don't usually get with AF! And usually I would get symptoms at the earliest the day before AF is coming! I really don't know what's going on!?!?! If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

Anyway, I'm so impatient at waiting for it to happen I thought i would see how much CBFM's are. I looked a while ago and thought they were about £80-£100. But Amazon are currently selling it for £56 and a pack of 20 sticks for £15 so £70 in total which I thought was a bit of a bargain! I don't want to encourage anyone to spend but thought I would let you all know incase interested :p

Am I right in thinking I need to start using it at CD1? I'm hoping AF doesn't start before it arrives if it's going to!

    x

You have until CD6 to start it (just push and hold M button until the right day comes up if you don't manage to get it in time on CD1). x

Cograts on BFP Twi1light. They'll be more soon. SBDTA x
  • morning ladies!

    congratulations tinkerbell888 and twi1ight :T:T:T

hope everyone had a lovely christmas :Dme and my hubby had a lovely couple of days, we ate sooooooo much though :p

i'm either 5 or 6 dpo (27+), going by opk i'm 6dpo. and going by temp, cm and cervix i'm 5dpo:cool: although i did have a slight temp rise the day after the positive opk, but only slight. we dtd on all the right days, so fingers crossed. trying really hard not to ss, but it's difficult even though i know it's too soon! :o

Thanks lemon tree, it means a lot. I wonder if acupuncture might help your cycle?! It's meant to do great things. Just throwing ideas around.

Pinkpig - Maybe your subconscious was waiting for your sister. I was thinking about ttc much earlier this year but then found out SIL was expecting and didn't want to be too close. Then she miscarried and I really didn't want to pip them to the post so waited a bit until she was pregnant again and all was going ok. She had the baby this month. They'll prob all think I got broody after seeing it, not sure if I'll tell them how long we were trying (4 cycles)
