Well, I now appear to be 3DPO - it's CD18 for me - my cycles appear to be shortening by 2-3 days per cycle ever since I mc'd in April - I suspect this is not normal?

I don't know but mine went from 35 to 22 days last month!

Nora, Grapefruit juice? Does this really work? Im having trouble monitoring my EWMC. Mind you I hate grapefruits, so I'd have to pinch my nose and swallow it!!

Also, I forgot to ask - Does anybody know what can cause a delay on Ovulation?

I think it does help - I have always had EWCM when drinking it. Stress can delay ov as can illness and other such things.

We did every other day, though that was tiring at times. :rotfl:
I'm finding it tiring! We just laid having a cuddle in the dark. I really didn't want to but knew we had to. So we got up lit lots of candles-put music on-dress up-chose 2 cards from our positions pack of cards:rotfl:and then got out our board game. One of the things on the cards was that he had to knock on the bedroom door and pretend to be delivering pizza. I had to complain he was early and it wasn't the pizza I ordered and tell him ways to make it up to me - one thing on the card included kneeding my bum cheeks like pizza dough :rotfl::T:rotfl:I was laughing my head off!!!

Yes, grapefruit juice definitely works. When I first heard about EWCM on FF in February/March, I had no clue what they were talking about, I'd never seen it and I'm 31 years of age! Not to get too gross on you, but got EWCM the first month I used it (and got my BFP). Since then, the quality and quantity of EWCM is pretty impressive - it can take more than 10-15 wipes of toilet paper to get rid of it all. :o I know, way TMI!

To be honest, I quite like grapefruit juice. But I would just drink a large glass (250-300ml) of it at breakfast time from CD7 until ovulation. But I've heard other people drink loads of the stuff (500ml+) for about 5 days in the lead up to ovulation.

I have no idea what can cause delays to ovulation, although somebody said on some thread that grapefruit juice can delay OV by about 3 days, which happened to me for my first cycle with it. I'm guessing stress, alcohol, long distance travel might influence the timing of OV though? Also, don't know if you are living with other females, but I noted when I was in college that every September I would be living with 4 other girls and our periods were all at different times of the month. By Christmas, our periods would be in sync and would stay like that until we went our separate ways in May/June. Happened every year I was in university and each year I was living with a few of the same people but also lived with at least one new girl every year and it would still happen.

OMG! :T What is the name of this pack of cards! I want one!! Or was it the board game that suggested kneeding your bum cheeks like pizza dough?? :rotfl:

Either way, sounds like great entertainment! It's our anniversary soon and I think we could do with a bit of entertainment!

Thanks Emsbet, I guess it's normal then?? In general, I'm quite happy that the cycles are getting shorter - a 28 day cycle is better than a 35 day one, but would worry if the trend continued and they got too short.

I think your body has been through a lot and so it takes a while to settle back into a routine. I think you should just keep an eye on it and see how it goes. Are you/have you taken Agnus Castus? It's supposed to help lengthen the LP and stabilise your hormones.
I'm quite happy having a cycle that's less than 35 days but I definitely hope that 22 isn't the start of a trend as I think that's a bit too short. I'd quite like a nice "average and predictable" 28 day cycle :)
