Hi everyone, sorry been quiet recently, just been very busy.

I think someone asked me if I was temping at the same time each day........nope:o

I try and do it when I wake up so could be from 5.30-7 each day. My pattern does seem rather erratic doesnt it compared to others.

We have been BD every other day for a while but I dont seem to be having any signs that OV is on its way. No EWCM or temp change and OPK are always negative.

Hope you are all well xxxxx

I think your body has been through a lot and so it takes a while to settle back into a routine. I think you should just keep an eye on it and see how it goes. Are you/have you taken Agnus Castus? It's supposed to help lengthen the LP and stabilise your hormones.
I'm quite happy having a cycle that's less than 35 days but I definitely hope that 22 isn't the start of a trend as I think that's a bit too short. I'd quite like a nice "average and predictable" 28 day cycle :)

Never heard of it. I was on folic acid until the mc - after that I moved to some complete pregnancy supplement (Mr T branded) that has everything including Vitamin B6, which apparently reduces the risk of mc. I don't think there is anything wrong with the length of my luteal phase - can last anywhere from 12-14 days, even with my shorter cycles 12 days has been my shortest luteal phase. Will look into it anyway and see if it's worth trying.

I've been taking B6 but stopped after I ov'd the month I got my BFP as I wasn't sure whether or not I should keep taking it ..... hmmmm maybe I should just stop the agnus castus after ov and keep taking the folic acid and B6.

well, my supplement is supposed to be taken while TTC up until 12 weeks pregnant so I think B6 is good for you in early pregnancy.

Sorry quotes didn't really work as I was on the wrong account so I've just used names for who I think I was replying to, sorry if it seems blunt.

Fannyanna. We don't really have a BD tactic, its just as and when the mood strikes us. This month that meant we hit the 3 days in the run up to OV but not 4 days before or the day of the temp rise. If we didn't feel in the mood at that time though I think I would make myself so not to miss out, but I'm scared it'll cease to be intimate and become something else on the to do list. The advice is so contradictory on how often, but most of what I have read says only to hold out to every 2 days if there is a known sperm quality/quantity issue - the only place I've actually seen the 2 days thing is on internet forums and Zita West's book completely slated it saying it takes 30 goes to empty him and 72 hours to replenish, so try to keep it under 10 times a day (the screamy face isn't enough for this situation), so for now I'll just relax and do what comes naturally.

I was wondering who followed me today Fannyanna, someone did, but they didn't have a username just a number which was mildly thrilling to have a secret chart stalker.

Speaking of, QQ are you our resident chart expert? I would appreciate some guidance as my temps this month don't seem reassuring, it's back down to almost pre-OV levels of temps already. Also, FF puts me a day later on OV than I am on your list x

Nora - my mum and my auntie gave birth on the same day! My mum wasn't due for another 6 weeks, my auntie for another 4, and my nana and grandad got a call from my dad to say I'd just been born by emergency C section, so they were getting their coats to nip around the corner to the hospital, when my uncle called to say his wife had just given birth to twin girls at the other end of the country. So he came and saw me, then did a radio interview before jumping in the car to go meet my cousins.

Anyone thinking of trying the grapefruit juice method don't if you have high blood pressure medication as it stops it working. Wish I liked it as I didn't think TMI when you posted Nora - I thought 'wow, 15 wipes is insane'!

Apparently delayed OV can be caused by the same things as a missed period, stress, poor diet, alcohol, fatigue etc. Never have I believed more in the mind-body connection than I do now TTC. At this rate I'll be doing headstands and humming in a few months.

I think I will probably keep taking it for as long as I take the folic acid then.

Trying not to think what might have been if I'd have carried on taking it last time. I know it's highly unlikely it would have changed a thing but I can hear a niggling thought forming in the back of my mind - must stop it! I'll only drive myself bonkers with such thoughts! :o

Ok, so did some research. You are supposed to take agnus castus from day of period and stop at OV day - if you don't know when OV is, take last dose on CD14. Folic acid, Vitamin B6 are supposed to be taken from before conception to 12 weeks pregnant.

Basically, agnus castus is good for cutting the overall length of your cycles to about the 28 day "average" and balancing hormones. If I don't get my BFP this month, I think I might give it a go next month.

Ditto! Was slightly angry with myself when I read about Vit B6 after mc, as I hadn't taken it at all, but you're right - enough people get pregnant and have healthy pregnancies and babies without the assistance of all these supplements. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. As long as you're not drinking excessively on a regular basis or taking non-prescription drugs for recreational use, I don't think you can blame yourself when a mc happens.
