Nora - my mum and my auntie gave birth on the same day! My mum wasn't due for another 6 weeks, my auntie for another 4, and my nana and grandad got a call from my dad to say I'd just been born by emergency C section, so they were getting their coats to nip around the corner to the hospital, when my uncle called to say his wife had just given birth to twin girls at the other end of the country. So he came and saw me, then did a radio interview before jumping in the car to go meet my cousins.
Anyone thinking of trying the grapefruit juice method don't if you have high blood pressure medication as it stops it working. Wish I liked it as I didn't think TMI when you posted Nora - I thought 'wow, 15 wipes is insane'!
Never have I believed more in the mind-body connection than I do now TTC. At this rate I'll be doing headstands and humming in a few months.
Thanks Kaemi, that story of you and your cousins is bizarre, but wonderful! Completely agree with you about the mind-body connection, I'm trying to get myself around to a positive frame of mind, quite difficult after a mc as I can be great one week and then once one bad thing happens, I tend to go into a spiral that last 3-4 days where all I do is bawl my eyes out that I should now be nearly 4 months pregnant and I'm not. I guess it's all part and parcel of the recovery process but trying to keep myself away from negative people and negative places at the moment to keep the spirits up. Hence, I've re-introduced the running (exercise releases happy hormones) and am thinking about starting yoga. I've a friend who has been trying for 18 months now, she's just started going to an acupuncturist, will be interesting to see how she gets on with it.Overpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100

Hi folks:wave:
CD21 and still low on CBFM:o Not that I used the machine, only the sticks since my machine is in DH's time zone. I shall be using the machine from tomorrow morning if I calculated the time right:think:
Good thing about CBFM is that one can read the sticks without the machine:money:
Should be BDing tonight after being away for 6 weeks:j
Re:Grapefruit juice, don't take it if you are taking some medication as it counteracts it. I've taken it for ewcm, and it works well with one small glass in the morning from around CD7 to ov. It is supposed to make your insides more hospitable to the swimmers. But stop after ov as it is not good for implantation.
Praline, indecent proposal?:p I think I should be allowed Johnny Depp:cool: As for hpts and DHs, do they really think we'll test, get BFP and forget to tell them:D (Actually, I told him few days after I got the BFP last time, since he was away:o).
2ba3c, you are stressing too much and delaying ov:o Relax, and aim to get pg in the next 6 months rather than this cycle. Otherwise, go private and get a scan and find out when you are due to ov. The doctors are pretty accurate +-1 day in my case. No need for IUI:)
As for Peaks, my CBFM has never missed my Peak - yet;)But it is possible so don't rely on it too much, and read the lines on the stick:cool:
Rebekah, I take two teas, one is fine the other
emsbet, you got pg before, you will again really soon:)
I heard some larger Superdrugs sells CBFM for £20, but one really only needs the sticks (£12-13 for 20 at Amazon), as it's very easy to read:p
Fannyanna, our BD tactic is a hit and miss, as DH needs at least 5 days to build up his swimmers, so we have to aim at ov. Hence the use of OPKs, CBFMs and doctor's scans:o Wish we could do it every other day:o
Kaemi, your chart looks fine:)... I've been dying to do that back to you!!

I agree with happy hormones & exercise. I go to (fertility) acupuncturist. It is very relaxing if nothing else:)0 -

Thanks QQ. I went to acupuncturist as a child for 4 years and I loved it, my mother used to be amazed at how I'd nearly be nodding off within a few minutes. That said, I now fall asleep when getting my legs waxed so perhaps I don't need much encouragement!Overpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100
