    Morning!

Just a quick question. Are the smiley face OPK and the cheapie strip ones basically the same aside from the posh packaging? I've never used them as I was always pretty confident about when I was ov'ing but I wouldn't mind being sure!

    Thanks!

PS What a lovely story Euronorris, miracles do happen!

I haven't used the smiley face ones but I would imagine they are the same thing. The only thing that might be different is the sensitivity but I think they both only measure LH whereas the CMFM also measures estrogen (I think?!) :)

What's you BD tactic? Do you do it every other day, every day or plan it around what you think is your fertile period?

We did every other day, though that was tiring at times. :rotfl:

Yep, it does, so it gives you a bit more notice before your surge!

They sound really good - I want one but I don't think I can justify the expense at the moment :(

They are good, if they work properly! *kicks my monitor* - I suspect its actually ME thats not working properly, atm! BUT they are good for letting you know ahead of time, which I desperately need with a donor.

I wanted to know, from those of you that use CBFM, is it possible for it to miss your Peak?

It's so strange, I know somebody else who on their 3rd month of using the CBFM also got lots of highs and never peaked!

I'm on day 9 of my highs, though there's still a chance I could peak and just have a longer than normal cycle... if I peaked tomorrow it would be a 38 day cycle. The last time I had a 37 days cycle or nearest, was last year, when I got married! s-t-r-e-s-s-e-d!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well, I now appear to be 3DPO - it's CD18 for me - my cycles appear to be shortening by 2-3 days per cycle ever since I mc'd in April - I suspect this is not normal?

Anyway, speaking of BD tactics, the month we got our BFP, we only managed to do it once! On the evening of OV day, I was away with work for the few days beforehand so I ordered him to relieve himself 3 days beforehand (TMI, I know!), cut out the alcohol, and he was in the bed waiting for me when I got back from the airport!

This month, we did it the day before OV and again on OV day, so it appears to be well-timed - here's hoping! Have taken up the running again (stopped after last BFP and only started again 2 weeks ago) - bizarrely enough, I think it helps my CM, possibly cos I'm drinking more water, but managed to get EWCM this month which was a first without the assistance of grapefruit juice (forgot to buy more stock!)

Anyway, my sister is going for IVF next month. She had a lovely baby boy early last year after her third round of IVF so it would be a bit weird if we were both preggers at the same time - my mother wouldn't know what to do with herself considering we live 300 miles apart! I know, I'm getting ahead of myself - back to reality Nora!!

Nora, Grapefruit juice? Does this really work? Im having trouble monitoring my EWMC. Mind you I hate grapefruits, so I'd have to pinch my nose and swallow it!!

Also, I forgot to ask - Does anybody know what can cause a delay on Ovulation?
