Personal question although let's face it this is the TTC thread so I think you're hard pushed to find a non-personal question

What's you BD tactic? Do you do it every other day, every day or plan it around what you think is your fertile period?

If you go to the "sharing" tab at the top of FF and select "setup" and then it will show you your homepage web address which you can cut and paste on here.

To add people if you click on the links QQ puts in the team sticky and on the left will be "add friend" Then you can [STRIKE]stalk[/STRIKE] follow others!

The month I got my BFP we just kinda BD's as often as we could during the fertile period -which tured out to be either day before and day of or day of and day after ov (still not 100% sure which day I ov'd ). This month we are going for every day for the week around my fertile period - although day 3 and I'm quiet tired so am going to have to find some more energy from somewhere!

1st month and going with what the dr's recommend. Every other day. Wanted to include the day before the day befoer I ov. So I tend to ov on day 13 so that is today. So we last rumpied on Saturday evening(cd 11) So will do again tonight and will prob be our lot for this month! I read most people will concieve from bding 2 days pre ovulation. Which sounds about right if spermies live up to 3 days.

Evening all,

Sorry I've not been around properly for a few days - everything has been manic here, as I've been looking after my Nana and my parents' cat whilst they've been on holiday, celebrating my birthday, and also trying to fit in babysitting a friend's child, as well as all my planning work for school. I'm absolutely shattered! No sign of AF yet - if my cycle is 27 days as it was last cycle, she should be here on Thursday (if she dares to show her face - hopefully she won't), but as I am only 7DPO I'm not sure what'll happen this cycle. *inserts confused smiley here*

Hugs to all who need or want them, I don't know when I'll next pop in, so keeping fingers crossed for more BFPs whilst I'm away.

We're going for every other day at the minute although its slipped a bit now I've got to CD41!!

Just got a bit click happy and added everyone as an FF friend. I wont be offended if anyone declines though

The month we got BFP we went with what my GP said and aimed for every other day am still amazed we managed it as I was working long days and OH nightshifts the week I ovulated that month it was literally get in from work straight to bed then OH was up going to work straight after having jumped in and out of the shower :rotfl: it must have been the pressure that brought results lol OH had a ban on activities by himself and also alcohol banned and had quit smoking which all helped I think

Good point Tactic: as much as possible!! I aim for every other day/every 3days cos my cycles are long, but if I have 'interesting' cm or more mojo (also a sign of ov) I'll jump him as much as he can be persuaded

I'll try adding but on DH's phone so not sure if it'll do it...

I've this horrible feeling I'm getting my hopes up too much this month... I keep thinking "if this is our month/cycle then...bubs would be due around my bday/we could tell my mum when we see her for her birthday/I'd be pregnant on DH's bday" etc etc I'm really hoping for it and it scares me how much I want it sometimes
