    Massive ((hugs)) for you.

Your book is right it is a fresh start and a good sign that your body has settled down after everything it has been through.
I know what you mean about been sad though. I was hoping I was super-fertile in the weeks after and that we'd get lucky before AF arrived but it wasn't meant to be and I know it is for the better because my body has had chance to get over it all. Also I feel like I am in a better place mentally too as it felt like a line had been drawn and it was the end of the bad times and hopefully the start of some great times :o

Treat yourself to lots of nice things in the meantime :)

    xx

Thank you. You are soooo right. I know I'm lucky really, it can take ages for some people to get AF after MC and it took me a good couple of months for AF to come after coming off the pill so at least I haven't had to wait too long. I usually get bad cramps too which I haven't got so that's good too.

Think I'm going to allow myself wallow until I finish work then make the most of the weekend.:)

Rebekah, I'm not keeping a diary as such but I'm going to start keeping a proper track of what happens when in my cycle as I'm noticing things about my body but can't remember if it's something new or I had it the month before. Memory going in old age!

I was more thinking a real diary. How you came to ttc, how you feel about it all etc etc.

In terms of cycle related practical stuff I also use FF. Would be lost without it tbh!

I think it's the sort of thing I would start and then forget about in a few weeks :o

    Don't ANSWER it!:D

I like to think my eggies are waiting for Mr Spermy right (and maybe vice versa). They don't want to hook up with any old sperm, nothing wrong with being choosy :p

Hope you're feeling better bigz x

Can I please ask your advice, lovely ladies...

My CBFM says HIGH today, and I am pretty sure that I am going to get a peak tomorrow (which meaures the LH surge, so Ovulation is expected in 12-36 hours?) anyway - do you think I should 'book' the donor, for tonight and tomorrow morning, or tomorrow night and Sunday morning?

    Sorry! Im so confused myself!

I try to think of them like OPKs, because OPKs measures your LH Surge right, so if you get a + on the stick, it would suggests that ovulation is about to occur within the next 24-48 hours (I just re-googled this).

SO in theory, if I get a smily face/or a peak on a CBFM tomorrow morning, Im not likely to actually ovulate until 24-48 hours time, and if we DTD tonight, doesnt that mean theres a possibility all the swimmers will be dead?
I've no idea about the CBFM but: Swimmers last far longer than eggs do, so you're more likely to overcompensate by waiting and missing the egg than you are to get swimmers too early and them have died off. What's your CM like? Is it cloudy/watery/ewcm yet? What about trying an OPK as well? If you have other signs as well as the CBFM I would definitely but the "order" in ;)

So, I'm back from the my doc's appt. And as expected it was not only a total waste of my time, but also quite upsetting.

I would've thought that a) your doc needs lessons in bedside manner b) the scanner is more right c) you need a second opinion from a gynae who actually specialises in this area (I don't think the doc can withhold the referral til he's diagnosed either tbh) d) you gp sounds like he's stabbing in the dark and you really shouldn't worry too much cos I'd thought if scans and tests have indicated PCOS, it's more about your doc not specialising in this iyswim? I hope you're not too upset :o

    Afternoon everyone!

Goodness what a lot to catch up on.

Scarly-I'm sorry your doctor hasn't been more helpful. I know they are very busy and under a lot of pressure, but sometimes I think they forget that this is peoples lives they're supposed to help!

Lazarou-I think a nice Friday night drink will do you the world of good...

    Hugs to emsbet and Colli

Well, lets see. Where am I up to now LOL! I had a positive OPK on Monday morning (early). I know they recommend testing in the afternoon as this is when the surge will start, and then it will probably be 12-36 hours afterwards. If I test early in the mornings (6am!) will this mean that the surge starts the day before and that I could OV that day? So I could be 3 or 4 DPO!

I had a bit of weird CM yesterday too (sorry TMI!). It was clear and a bit stretchy but definitely brown tinged. I assume it is just some old blood coming out. Shame it wasn't a few days down the line then I could have convinced myself it was implantation LOL!

On the up side, I've got back into my exercising and went to my first Zumba class on Thursday. I've decided that if you could do Zumba drunk it would be the best exercise in the world!

I love Zumba but gave it up when I got my BFP because I read you are not supposed to do it when pg (most instructors won't let you take part if they know) and I haven't gone back.
