scarly I'm similar to you have had very sporadic cycle lengths and same with stray hairs, 'tache etc went to the doctor who did bloods. Was told all was fine... went back again as skin on face gone all blotchy fobbed me off again and said they will re do bloods in 6 months ... not sure what they are expecting to change.

Drives me MAD that they treat you like idiots .. i know when something is up with my body!

Frustrating. I would be in the mindset that you have it, deal with that, carry on with the diet, etc. Unless they put you on Metformin (which is hit and miss) or Clomid (which has it's own risks and they only like to give it you for 6months from what I've seen) they'll do nothing for you anyway, iyswim... I don't mean that to sound bleak - I mean that it in a "regardless of whether all the docs agree with each other, you're still the one in control of your destiny" type of way. I hope that makes sense? :o

I like it, very sage advice :) Yeah I've bought a book on PCOS that will hopefully arrive next week, I'm planning on following the advice in that and mostly ignoring the dr until he either confirms it's PCOS, or tells me what it really is. Either way, I'll carry on with the low-carb diet (although I might shift it over to low-GI instead) as that's not going to hurt me at all. :)

Hope the tasting is as awesome as it sounds! :D

I'm really sorry to hear that :( sounds like you've got even worse docs than I do! I think they're only putting up with me because there was a noticeable hormonal imbalance in the first bloodwork and because I had a few more symptoms.

I'm now trying agnus caustus as a natural way to bring my cycles back in line, as well as low-carb diet to get rid of the other symptoms. It's going to take a little while though. :o

    Hi All,

Hope you're all well. Hugs to anyone that needs it.

I've had a good day today. Had today off work to hand in my photography assignment. Hubby took the day off to so we had lunch together and went and done a bit of shopping - we both got a few bits for our holiday.

Hubby did his sperm analysis this morning and it was so funny. He did it at home and the first thing he did was make sure the cats had been chucked outside. Then he was struggling a bit so I had to find him some appropriate material on the internet whilst I was getting washed and dressed so that I could deliver the sample to the hospital (carried in my bra for security and warmth). I don't think he was too amused at having to do it but it certainly gave me a chuckle :rotfl:.

Got a busy day tomorrow. I'm going to a taster session for rock choir which I'm really looking forward to, got a few things to do in town after that and then I have my best friends hen party in the evening.

Phew! I thought I was going off on one for a while there! :p

It wasn't bad actually. A hot chocolate, a few different flavoured bits of panini, and a few different bits of various types of cupcake :D And not a salad in sight! :D:p

I now (after a couple of days of progressive spotting) have some increasing AF type cramps so I think AF is on the way. Now, normally (and I'm not saying I'm happy about it either, y'understand ;)) I would be rather :( BUT PMA dictates that I should look for the silver line, which is that FF would've (probably) got the ov line right - for the first time I'd have an ov line! :j

I love Zumba but gave it up when I got my BFP because I read you are not supposed to do it when pg (most instructors won't let you take part if they know) and I haven't gone back.

    xx

Really? oh no that's one of my favourites, are there other exercises you shouldn't do?

Not sure really. I think most exercise is fine as long as you don't over do it. I just read that due to the movements that are typical of zumba you shouldn't do them during pregnancy. All the classes I looked at also said you couldn't go if you were pg.
