hello  especially to lemonmelon, welcome!
CD18 for me and no sign of ov yet, so much for my cycles regularising! However, I have had a little bit of ewcm today and yesterday, so this could be it... We BD-d last night and the day before, so would be ok timing. Won't be DTD tonight though as DH is out on the lash and will be in no fit state by the time he crawls through the door, I'm sure!
Have a good PMA this cycle - we're both enjoying BD-ing and not stressing about stuff. I think the trick with BD-ing is not to thing of it as TTC, but as just doing what two grown-ups who love each other do naturally...!Obviously its good to have an idea of when you're ov-ing, so you can try to do it at the right time(ish), but I figure that it's got to happen at some point - if it was impossible then the human race would have died out long ago...! :rotfl:
(Remind me of the above when I'm stressed and upset when AF arrives in a couple of weeks' time....!!)
Man, I've been to the gym tonight and been weight-lifting - and I am gonna suffer tomorrow! I like to lift weights as it's good for general health and strength as well as fat-burningAnd makes me feel powerful! :j
Nothing on tv tonight - I think I'm going to retire to bed early with my book, rock and roll

Oh and who ever it was who told me to tell him i'm scared. His reply .. Why are we bothering then ... Men!
I know he is scared too and would take any opportunity to get out of it!
DH sometimes gets cold feet too, after all this time TTC:owe live next door to the MIL (we are semi-detached too) so I worry she may hear things if we don't. I wonder if that's why Moon is finding it hard to perform too? I hadn't thought of that before.if it was impossible then the human race would have died out long ago...! :rotfl:I like to lift weights as it's good for general health and strength as well as fat-burningAnd makes me feel powerful! :j

Wow, sometimes you guys can talk!! I've only been away for 24 hours and I had 3 pages to read!
Thanks for the hugs everyone, didn't think this month was ours as we never bd'd at the right time but we tried. The only unusual thing for me was the spotting and the stabbing pains in the side of my tummy... but i just think it's psycological (sp?) as now i'm TTC i notice every teeny tiny thing happening to me as before idve definitely ignored it!
See a lot of people had a bit of rumpy last night!! I hope those of you had some fun!!(((hugs))) to goppers and anyone else that needs them xxx
Thanks emmylou x
Sorry to hear the witch turned up goppers. If no AF, will test again but not sure when. Maybe do it in the morning as going to a party tomorrow night and a wedding reception on Saturday and will maybe have a little drink if AF definately on her way.
Good luck lazarou_true and have fun at the party!!Went to Wembley last night and saw Take That- was absolutely amazing, Robbie was fantastic and really enjoyed the Pet Shop boys too, although I did cry when they sang 'Always on my Mind' as they were my nans favourite band and it was the 20th anniversary of her passing away yesterday too. May sound crazy after all this time but I miss her soo much.
Ahh GemmaE, I went a few weeks back in mancehster and yeah both PSB and TT were great!! Hugs for your granny xx
Good lord - Hope his mother doesn't ring half way through ...
RebekahR, If i had a pound for the amount of times his mum/dad called while we were BDing when we first got married, i would be a rich lady!! Thank god it doesn't happen that much anymore... but then again, we did BD like rabbits at first, at random times of the day :rotfl:We tend to put the radio station on our freeview box on in the evening when we are DTD - smooth radio tends to be quite good, although they do have djs talking on there occasionally which can be a bit offputting. We mainly have it on because we live next door to the MIL (we are semi-detached too) so I worry she may hear things if we don't. I wonder if that's why Moon is finding it hard to perform too? I hadn't thought of that before.
We do that too sometimes sexymouse always nice to listen to some nice sexy music when bding! Maybe he is paraniod of being heard, we did it ones when his mum and dad were in the next room when they came to stay over, had to be incredibly quiet, was great fun though! :rotfl: :shhh:Man, I've been to the gym tonight and been weight-lifting - and I am gonna suffer tomorrow! So just trying to get in as much BD as possible...........really don't want to get too obsessed like i did last time but it does seem to be going that way and I am seriously looking at CBFMIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
am over last weeks disappontment
& sort of giving up for this month too......still getting plenty of practice;) but am not keeping an eye on timing. think that was making me obsessive in a bad way.
after this month, intend to try the old temping thing for 2 months.....after that, well, will have to work that out when we get there, but for now we have a plan.....
never thought it would take so long......hey ho, the best things come to those who wait....dont they?I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -
Morning all! Hope everyone is well!
CD8 for me so nothing much to report. My temps have come right down over the last couple of days which I'm taking as a good sign that my body is getting back to normal.
I have finally decided to teach myself knitting!Decided I needed a hobby and all the talk on here of knitting a few weeks ago gave me the push to get my backside in gear and have ago! I only started last night and am knitting the obligatory scarf! I've got myself a great learners book so I'm going to work my way through that! :T I'm actually really excited about it and can't wait to get home and knit some more! What a saddo!
My PMA seems to be up a lot these last couple of days - hope I can keep it up!
Great PMA btw BB! :T
Hope you all have a great day!

Can I please ask your advice, lovely ladies...
My CBFM says HIGH today, and I am pretty sure that I am going to get a peak tomorrow (which meaures the LH surge, so Ovulation is expected in 12-36 hours?) anyway - do you think I should 'book' the donor, for tonight and tomorrow morning, or tomorrow night and Sunday morning?Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

So are you expecting ov today/tomorrow or tomorrow/sunday? (Sorry don't have CBFM so not sure how it works)
I would say you should book the donor for the night before and the morning of expected ov as it's best to have the little swimmers ready and waiting for the egg to be released rather than the other way round as they have the longer "shelf life"

That sounds like a plan. I think it is all too easy to get obsessive with it.Lurker1972 wrote: »never thought it would take so long......hey ho, the best things come to those who wait....dont they?
Definitely!

Well I *think* - and please somebody correct me if I am wrong that the PEAK measures your LH surge, so that ovulation is expected within 12-36 hours later....
But then I've been thinking (too much!!), if I surge between this morning and tomorrow when it picks it up, I could already be ovulating.
Does that sound super confusing?!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
